We attended a car convention in July. The facility was very well suited for our needs there were staff members located around the facility to provide directions. The bathrooms were clean as were the conference rooms.

As part of the pre-convention for the 72nd National Square Dance Convention to be held in this convention hall in June 2023, we received a tour of the facilities and held a kick-off dance. The facility has two very large halls each of which is adequate for >1000 dancers, There are another dozen rooms which provide space for additional levels of dancing all under one roof. I am looking forward to the actual convention

This is a nice facility. We went for a volleyball tournament. It sits on the water, so we enjoyed watching barges and boats pass by. I wish there had been a variety of food options inside the facility, instead of the same vendor in multiple locations.

We docked for just one night in December, along with three other cruisers. The wall is tough to land on when there is a lot of large vessel traffic in the channel. We were bounced all over the place and until we were able to situate our fenders and lines.
If you bring your boat in, be sure to have fender boards or other horizontal structures to keep you off the tall vertical extrusions along the wall.
There are plenty of cleats but they're huge!
The security team at the Convention Center is wonderful. One gentleman met us as soon as we pulled up to help us tie up and welcome us to the area. He checked on us frequently and the Convention Center has multiple live cameras on the area so the security people can keep an eye on things even when they're not making their rounds.
We walked up the street to a fun little restaurant called Squid Ink (you can see my review of that here on TripAdvisor) and there were many other fine choices within just a five minute walk.
There is no water or power or other service available here, so you're on your own.
Finally, be ready for a bouncy night. During the daylight hours it seemed that the commercial traffic paid more attention to their wakes, but after the sun set, all bets were off and several vessels passed without any apparent concern for the damage their wakes might cause. Put out a lot of fenders and tie off securely--keep the small tidal changes in mind--and enjoy your time at the Mobile Convention Center.

We were here a few days for a convention. It was a very nice, big venue. We stayed at the Renaissance right across the street, which is connected by the skywalk. That was very helpful to avoid the heat and the day that it rained. There is a Chick Fila in the convention center, along with some other foods, and bar service. There's a great view and outside balconies to see the water & ships going in and out. My only complaint was that it was really, really chilly in there. If having an event here. I would definitely bring an extra shirt or jacket just to be safe.

The convention center is directly on the waterway and makes for interesting conversation as boats pass. The staff is excellent and very accommodating to the needs of convention goers. Food is usually less than good and bathrooms could use more frequent staff visits.

Wonderful place. Easy access. Moderate parking fee. Clean well kept Bathrooms. Could use a few permanent food venders. Could use a bigger parking lot. Staff very friendly

Hosted a meeting of several hundred people in the grand ballroom. The facility is exceptionally well maintained, and our attendees were very impressed with it.
