Is a very small, aging business, but did have all sorts of sweets and nuts. They were roasting peanuts as we were there, and there was a female employee that helped us as we did our shopping.

Is one of the must-see places on Dauphin Street but it was smaller than expected. The items available were excellent and it is worth the stop to read the walls.

This is one of the most quaint shops I've seen. This is truly a Mr. Peanut original. The candy, the nuts, the people...What more can I say? You'll even find an original Mr. Peanut scale. Sadly, it should be renovated as it's a treasure as are the memories we have of having visited.

We've been here before but have never left a review. The employee told me this place was originally Planters and one of the employees at the time bought out the business and its been in the same family since the 40's. I highly recommend purchasing roasted peanuts and walking over to Bienville square to hand feed the squirrels.Some of the chocolate products are made there but others are not. Just have to ask.

This place has a feel of a candy/peanut shop from years ago. When we visited on a Saturday there was a jazz band playing right out front. The old-timey belt driven gas roaster was roasting the nuts just like it was done 70 years ago. Good selection too.

Enjoyed our first visit. Small store with many choices! We picked chocolate-covered cashews, chocolate gummy bears, roasted peanuts and carried them to the nearby park.

This place has the best snacks in downtown Mobile and is a gathering place for musicians to play jazz. Great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

We've been going to the A&M Peanut Shop every time we visit Mobile. The peanuts and treats are outstanding. They even sell peanuts for feeding the squirrels in the park. Staff is friendly and the prices are good.
