Visited here several times as it was conveniently located across the street from where we were staying. They have a lively night atmosphere with karaoke in one area, a mechanical shark in another, and a nightclub in the back. The food was delicious, especially the steamed shrimp and nachos. The drinks were flavorful but very light handed, they actually have a sign posted about how exact they are with their pours. I've never seen that before and it seems a little tacky. In the end, we all had a great time singing some rounds of karaoke, and then dancing the night away at the night club.

Took grandkids here. It is under new ownership and the food was delicious on top of great entertainment for my grandchildren, they rode a shark and fed the turtles off the deck in the bayou.

My wife and I went there for a meal and to sing karaoke. Food and food service were very good. Karaoke was very disappointing. I sing songs from the 60's and there list of songs was very limited. Out of the 5 different songs I wanted to sing they only had one song. So I was only able to sing one song. Considering that any karaoke song can be Googled, they are definitely technologically challenged.

Used to be a great place to eat. New management has taken over. Changed the menu with less items. And they jacked up the prices big time. Service was good. I will not blame what happened on the server. But the food came out cold. We got beignets and they came out under cooked and raw dough was still inside. We had Cheeseburger that was burned and almost as hard as a hockey puck. The soup came out cold. When we told the server about it, nothing in the kitchen was one about it. We know, because the table next to us got the same soup, and when it came out he said his was cold as well. He asked for the manager and she was very rude. She was mad at the server. NOT HER FAULT, all the issues were in the kitchen.

Totally disappointed! Used to be our hangout for cocktails & music & we enjoyed our cocktails! Not any more! Word from personnel is that most who come for music don’t buy drinks, so music will be non existent & they would rather focus on their warmer climate beach goers & not snow birds! Ain’t that a kick in the chops! In conclusion: not on our list anymore! Will spend our money elsewhere where the food is GOOD! Music or not!!

The service, atmosphere, and food were amazing. We met the chef when he came out to see how your food was, great guy. His cooking skills were awesome and the presentation was one of the best I’ve ever experienced.

If you are ever an Orange Beach Alabama do yourself a favor and make sure you make time to go and visit even just to have a drink to live bait restaurant such an amazing place basically a dive bar with amazing food and amazing atmosphere.
I travel quite a bit for work today being Thanksgiving day they had their Thanksgiving Day special which you would think would be just basic simple Thanksgiving Staples further than the truth this place was absolutely amazing at $21.99 you get tons of food with great taste flavor and quality.
I sat outside in the bar area the bartender who was serving folks outside at the bar area totally awesome guy his name is Jarred, even just having a brief conversation with this guy just completely shows the amazing personality the southern hospitality that he has, he's one of those employees that you hang on to forever because he is what makes businesses thrive.
So Jarred thank you for being an awesome dude.
In today's ridiculous crazy world that we unfortunately have to deal with especially in the service industry people really need to look at how this guy is and run with it.

Absolutely disappointed in this restaurant. Ordered from them for the second time in one week. The fist order was great. Placed an online order and wasn’t given all of the sides their menu stated came with my meal. Called to fix the issue and was argued with by a waitress and a MANAGER. They claimed that was “how I interpreted the menu”. Uh no… when it states (Fried fish fillet served with fries, cole slaw and hush puppies) that is what I expect to get. Not a plate of fish with NONE of those sides. And not even any tartar sauce or a lemon wedge. Their response was, I can come PICK UP 2 hush puppies or get a refund of $3 on an order that was almost $80. Absolutely shameful. So sad because they have great food, but the Thursday manager apparently doesn’t understand customer service or their menu!

Wish I wasn’t required to put even one star! “Fish of the Day” is what they took out of the freezer that morning! Nothing on the menu is “fresh” and you can tell by the taste. The portion of the platters appears to be large when you first see it but then you realize that 80% of the plate is made up of french fries!
One of our group’s choices was crab legs at “market price” which appeared on the bill at $48!! Oh, and be prepared for the rude server to swipe your credit card at table-side and then instruct you to choose your tip amount as she stands over you. I’ve never experienced that at any restaurant! Save your hard earned money and find the nearest Captain D’S !!
