From the pick up at our hotel to the actual tour and close out lunch....everything was made exceptional by Jorge. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and hysterically funny...he made the event memorable.
We saw everything we had wanted to see, including Ceasar, the outcast monkey, the baby & mama howler monkey, iguanas, and even started the tour by seeing a beautiful sloth. Max, the boat captain, was fantastic. The surprise coffee/cacao pit stop was amazing.
A must do activity in the area we highly recommend. Will definitely come back for a repeat tour.

I did this with my wife, 13 year old daughter and 15 year old son. We had an amazing time and this was the best thing we did in Costa Rica.
First of all, the organization was excellent and they did a great job explaining everything to us on the journey to the start of the rafting trip. Secondly our guide (Fauricio) was amazing, very patient as he taught us how to work together on the raft, but also was really helpful in showing us the wildlife and also we felt very safe with him.
Third, the river was beautiful, very clean, with stunning views and abundant wildlife (Toucans, Monkeys, Cormorants). It was a great way to experience the amazing natural beauty of Costa Rica.
Finally, and most importantly, we had so much fun on the river - it was a blast!
I cannot recommend this highly enough - it was definitely the highlight of our vacation.

The trip was amazing. We saw a lot of different animals and a ton of birds. The captain of the boat and the guides were excellent finding things for us to see and take pictures of and the lunch was superb Highly recommend this tour.

We were a 3-generation family of 8, ranging in age from 7 to 70+. Canoa Aventura set us up to all be in the same boat, so we had a wonderful shared experience. The small size of the boat allowed us to navigate the river quickly and get close to wildlife. We saw lots of different animals in a relatively short period of time, including spectacled owls!
We all did a bit of paddling, but no prior rafting experience needed.
After the safari float, we had a tasty snack and a brief informative presentation on chocolate.

This trip exceeded all of our expectations. The guides/driver were great (punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly). The rafting itself was brilliant and there was just the right amount of challenge/excitement for our first time rafting as a family. The trip included lunch, which was taken at a nearby ‘soda’ and was also very good. Overall, a great experience, and our kids tell us it was their favourite day of the holiday!

Just great guiding and support and lively 5* and nice lunch after doing 500 steps back up from the waterfalls we were picked up dropped off and seamless from sloth 🦥 to snake 🐍

We were picked up at our hotel and greeted warmly. This tour takes place in a private nature reserve connected to the national park , but is not actually on park land. Our tour guide, David was remarkably knowledgeable about the plants, birds, animals and the volcano itself. He literally know the genus and species of every plant and creature I asked him about! We saw crested guins, cool ants. coatis, a group of spider monkeys, wild boar. David often knew animals were in the area because he smelled them before he saw them. Our experience really seemed to matter to him and the diver, Clever, who prepared a beautiful snack of fresh fruit at the end.
The hike initially was not easy, lots of rocks and roots so a decent level of fitness is helpful. Really, a great experience.

Ezekiel was extremely nice and knowledgeable and interested in making sure the group saw wildlife in which they were interested. He was able to talk about the lava flows and the history of the volcano. While Joshua, too, was knowledgeable about the volcano, he rushed the group and did not seek out wildlife on the “forest” part of the tour.

We took the late afternoon float safari. Very relaxing. Jose was a great guide. We saw tons of different animals. Two kinds of monkeys. Many kinds of birds. One sloth. Iguanas. Bats. And the list goes on. Worth the money. The snacks and chocolate-making demo at the end were a great end to a great time.
