Dee made our trip amazing, in spite of lots of rain! He is very knowledgeable of the area and history. He is amazing at locating all of the animals.

Dee showed us the unbelievably stunning nature of Costa Rica (birds, animals, night walk/frogs, flora/fauna) that we would’ve walked right by without him- and local scrumptious eats!! He became like family with us- even spending an overnight in a hotel on a 2 day tour with us. HE IS THE BEST!!!

What an amazing experience! We really got to experience the beauty of Costa Rica. We hiked to a volcano, beautiful waterfalls, and hot springs all while getting expert commentary of local history and topography. We experienced the beautiful rain forest first hand and saw many native animals and birds. He was prompt, friendly, professional and a great communicator. We give Dee our highest recommendation!

All the tours exceeded our expectations. We did the sunset cruise and the adventure tour. Dee went above and beyond during our Costa Rica trip. He is very trustworthy and would highly recommend!

If you happen to need a guide who becomes “family” check out Dee! Despite the rainy weather Dee was able to offer alternative activities and even provide airport transportation. He is warm, friendly, speaks impeccable English and is a native Costa Rican who is proud of his beautiful country. His van is new, comfortable and he is an excellent driver on crazy back country roads. Thanks to Dee we had a great trip despite never cracking the sun screen open!

I learned about Dees Costa Rica Tours from another TripAdvisor post and decided to check it out. Dee was excellent in communicating often responding to emails that same day or by the next. He came down ill the day of our tour but sent another individual, Julian, in his stead who was fantastic. Even though not feeling well, Dee called shortly after we were picked up to apologize for his absence, make sure we were Okay, and wish us a good day. Julian was very knowledgeable about all things, very accommodating, and a lot of fun. Dee had everything taken care of and in place beforehand so all we had to do was show up and Julian took it from there. Our day was absolutely the greatest and we are so glad we did a tour through Dees. It was a full and long day but we saw, did, and learned so much. It goes without saying we took a whole bunch of pictures too to look at in years ahead to remember our memorable visit to beautiful Costa Rica and its friendly and welcoming people. Pura Vida, indeed!

Dee had excellent communication from the very start and replied quickly. I would recommend him over a larger company everyone refers because you can get a private tour with Dee for the same amount of group tour with them.
We used Dee for all of our transportation to/from the airport and an all day tour and everything was excellent! Dee wasn’t feel well the morning of our tour and arranged someone else to take us and assure us he will take care of us. Daniel our guide certainly did just that and we had a great time! I appreciate Dee providing us with another guide, instead of conducting it and not be 100%.
Dee was an English teacher so his English is excellent! I plan to recommend him to all my friends and family, and we hope to return to use him again! Pura Vida!

Don’t miss out on a chance to take a tour with Dee! He was fantastic!! The waterfall was beautiful and we saw so many amazing animals and learned so much about them and about Costa Rica overall. We never would have seen what we saw without Dee. Lunch was delicious and he and his driver Nancho were pros at getting us back safely even in a torrential rainstorm. So happy we went on Dee’s tour!!!!!!

We loved being with Dee for all our excursions in Costa Rica! We went white water rafting, zip lining, river tubing, horse back riding and the hot springs. Dee was always on time and gave great service. He showed us lots of things in Costa Rica and knows his stuff! He was good with my teens and made us feel at ease while traveling. He found good food recommendations and was exceptional at taking care of our family. He even took great pics of our family at some of the excursions! Thank you Dee! We would definitely use him again!

This was my family’s first trip to Costa Rica and we stayed in Playa Conchal. We only had 5 full days but for 2 of those days, we trusted Dee/his team for a couple of our excursions. We did the La Leona waterfall hike, zip lining, sloths, coffee.chocolate tour. Dee was very helpful and was very available for questions and request for recommendations. Everything went great and it contributed to us having a very positive and great first visit to Costa Rica. We’ll be back!!

Are you going to be able to accommodate us on another fishing trip with live, frozen, or other bait to catch fish? We only actually fished for 2 hours the rest of the time we chased bait.
