We had 10 people in our party. Jose was our driver and guide. He was the best. Whenever he took us to our destination he made sure our experience was the complete package. He was so knowledgeable about everything. If we didn't have Jose, we would have been lost. I would recommend Jose as the first pick to adventure with on this trip. We Loved him.

My husband and son took a fishing charter as party of our son’s 10th birthday celebration. The night before the fishing trip, we heard that the roosterfish is the special fish to catch on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. My son caught a beautiful mahi, mackerel and the prize roosterfish! They were very excited. The capitán, his wife and the mate were all very hospitable and the boat was very nice. They were picked up right off the beach from our hotel. They were pleasantly surprised by the fresh shrimp and fruit for snacks. They had a great day and highly recommend.

We were so impressed with the service Dervin and his team provided as soon as we arrived in Costa Rica. They provided airport transportation as well as multiple guided tours for our group. Every member of the team was professional and punctual. We would highly recommend the Buena Vista Combo Tour and for those looking for a great, challenging hike the Rio Celeste Waterfall is a must see. Both tours were informative and well organized. Thank you to "G" and our driver for the awesome time on our tours.
Overall an amazing job done by everyone involved. We ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND using this team for any of your tour and transportation needs while in Costa Rica.

Sport fishing all day off the coast. Our captain and mate were awesome guys and really knew where to find the fish. We caught so many tuna! Also mahi mahi. Hooked both a marlin and a sailfish but they did not get all way to the boat. It was so exciting and even the crew yelled out in excitement too! Our mate worked so hard all day getting everything set to catch the fish and boy, did we ever. Highly recommend Yellowfin Charters. Lots of drinks, food and snacks to last the full day. We saw tons of dolphins- more at one time than we have ever seen, even a few sea turtles in the ocean.

Went deep sea fishing with Yellowfin Sportfishing, unbelievable day and would highly recommend to anyone considering a fishing trip to use them. They had top of the line equipment and the captain and mate (Jose and angel) were great. We caught monster Tuna in our 3/4 of a day trip. In terms of price, they were extremely fair. The owner Dervin is a great guy and we used him for a tour of the volcano as well.

A five star review for Yellowfin Tours and our tour guide “G”, Greivin. G took our group of eight active 60-somethings to the Rio Tempisque and a typical Costa Rican lunch in the country. He drove us door-to-door from our rented villa high above Potrero, sharing tips on local beaches, restaurants and other sightseeing all along the way. G’s expertise with wildlife was obvious. During the boat tour, which was outstanding, he gave detailed information on the birds and other creatures we saw. I can highly recommend this choice of tour: we saw crocodiles, whiteface monkeys, iguanas, bats, and more birds than I can remember. While en route to the boat, G stopped the van to show us a troop of howler monkeys and was always looking out the window to spot anything else interesting. G also helped us out by stopping by the local market on our way back to the villa. Every day we spent in Costa Rica was great, but for me the tour with Yellowfin with G as our guide was the absolute highlight. Highly, highly recommend.

My large family (age range 12 -78) visited Costa Rica in December. I contacted Yellowfin to help with transportation and to excursions. Dervin was very helpful in suggesting outings that my family would enjoy. He is very professional and prompt in returning emails. We were picked up from the airport promptly in a nice van with plenty of room for our large family and luggage. Greivin was our driver for most of the excursions. Greivin or "G" was amazing! G was professional, courteous and taught us much about the beautiful country of Costa Rica! G was prompt and extremely helpful through all events and activities.
During our time in the area we enjoyed a Catamaran outing with snorkeling, swimming and time on a very quiet beautiful beach! On the ship, we were served delicious drinks and an amazing lunch! Josea, Franky and Emerson ensured our safety and made sure the trip was wonderful for my family.
Some of the children in our family enjoyed a surfing lesson in Tamarindo! Dervin and his sons were amazingly helpful and his sons were great teachers! The day in Tamarindo was wonderful.
I can not say enough about the Yellowfin staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, courteous and extremely helpful. You can't go wrong with this company!!

We made arangments via e mail for pick up from the airport that was great ! It got a little confusing at the airport cause their were a few guys with yellow fin grabbing our luggage and none of them had on uniforms so it made us feel a little lost. Once everything came together it was fine. We also took the Catamaran sunset cruse witch was incredible ,the river cruse was awesome and a day shopping in Tamarindo. What made it so special was our man G he was the best tour guide ever !!! The next time we come I hope we can get G again. In the end pick up for the ride to the airport was also a little confusing there were two guys that arrived to pick us up there were 10 adults one guy was putting our luggage in the van and the other one told me he would take the money for the ride so I gave him the money and tips from all of us , well I didn't realize the guy who took the money was in a car behind us , when we got to the airport one of our group asked the driver about the tip and he told him that the other guy was not with him so we tipped him again. So my suggestion for yellowfin would be make all your tour people wear the same shirts so there would be less confusion ,all in all we loved our experience with Yellowfin Charters I would highly recommend their services !!

We were picked up promptly in an air conditioned comfortable van with two guides. They were very informative and knowledgable about the region and showed us an interesting few hours on the river seeing the wildlife. We then visited a local farm and were treated to a traditional Costa Rican meal and demonstrations of pottery and sugar cane. An enjoyable day. Highly recommend this trip.
