Drivers did not communicate well with passengers. No explanation of how to switch from Montezuma shuttle to the ferry then to the next shuttle except handing us tickets and pointing to ferry. The second driver allowed a passenger to smoke right next to the open shuttle door with the wind blowing the smoke inside.

This was a really good shuttle service. We did the ~5hr trip to Santa Teresa from Nosara and it was well-organised.
I booked and paid in advance. The driver arrived just a few minutes after the scheduled pickup time, but that’s very normal here as they are picking up other passengers, so don’t worry!
The ride was comfortable and the driver was really helpful. I’d recommend!
My only point of note is that sometimes you have to change buses on your journey (don’t worry, it’s very common and they wait until the other bus has arrived), but it would be good if they told you that in advance of your trip so that you are aware. Not knowing this can leave you a bit blindsided but there’s no need to worry.

Our trip from Santa Teresa to Nosara was completely disorganized and the buses were very late. They made you switch buses in the middle of the trip leaving everyone super confused and luggage was lost. I do NOT recommend traveling with this company.

We used them on our trip to Costa Rica to pick up our rental car.
They showed up promptly and delivered us as promised for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

The driver will lie to you that there’s an accident on the high way and then go to the locals. It’s not true. They’re doing so to avoid tolls but you’ll get 30 more minutes of dizziness.

We got a private shuttle to Samara from the Liberia airport. Our flight arrived early and I texted the office about having the driver come earlier than scheduled, and he did. The ride was pleasant and uneventful. I am fully pleased with the service.

I can highly recommend Tropical Tours. Booking was smooth and also negotiable pick up and drop off locations.

We booked a private shuttle from Monteverde to Guanacaste. The driver arrived early and waited for us. We also had a last minute time change which the company was flexible on!
