Braulio was a good and knowledgable guy and i went with him for San Jose walking tour. He explained about the history and showed all the importance and history of San Jose City and it was really nice. Had a good time.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining and flexible as we needed to move around traffic and city workers safely. I learned a lot about the city and it’s history as well as good places to eat and visit later.

We did not find the tour very successful, it was not interesting at all for our children 14 and 15.
At the beginning of the tour we were told what was expected in terms of tips. On us that gave a negative feeling.
We have done many free walking tours and never experienced this before. (Of course we understand that they work for a reason)
Then don't call it a free walking tour on the internet and just ask the amount you want for it.

My wife and I took San Jose Free Walking Tour on a Sunday with Jorge. It was a great way to explore the city. Jorge was very informative and happy to answer any questions we had. We recommend this tour!

Our group met on time and our guide took us to all the sights in the city center. His knowledge of Costa Rica's history was amazing. It enhanced the whole experience.

A great way to explore the city and we loved all the information about the history of all of Central America and how Costa Rica has developed as a country. Our guide, Braulio, was passionate about his country, informative and engaging - and the smoothie/coffee break was well timed!

Jorge took our small group on a walking tour on a Sunday. He was great, very informative, but not just going over a rehearsed script. He had personal insights and you could tell he was proud of his city - as he should be. San Jose is a beautiful city, the people were kind, and the sites were worth the visit!

The tour was incredible, knowing the history, architecture and culture of San Jose changed our vision of the city 100%. We were lucky to have Pablo as a guide who made the experience not only interesting but also super fun. Thank you pablo.

The tour was with Iso. Lots of interesting info on historical sites, food, museums and parks. A lot of info but difficult at times to understand with her slight accent. As a group, we didn't appreciate how the tour ended when Iso, our guide, said "Ok, it's time for tips!" Not professional and it wasn't left to the discretion of everyone.

I loved our tour with Braulio! He presented a lot of interesting information about Costa Rica generally and, more specifically, San Jose. I really enjoyed getting to know more about Costa Rica's history and how and why the country developed the way that it did. The walk was a comfortable distance and the group was very friendly. In addition, our guide provided some useful tips in terms of where to safely walk in the city and where to find some good food.
I would definitely recommend this tour.

If you registered for the free walking tour they would have sent you a confirming email - so they would have your email Address. After I had finished the wal they sent me another email with an evaluation I filled in and sent. If you do not get such an email I guess you could go to their website and search!! 😊

This walking tour was in English and Spanish for us. However, they normally have one in English only and another one in Spanish but one of the guides was missing the day we did it so the guide did both languages.
