This was a great tour. Iso was enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. We saw a lot and had a nice break. Iso spoke English very well. As a tica, she knew a lot and wanted everyone to know the good, the bad and the ugly.

This was a great way to see the city. The tour guide was a professional lots of experience, a local, and very knowledgeable. She had so many good tips to share about restaurants, sites, culture and etiquette. Any questions the group had she answered thoroughly. She was also pretty funny.
The group was made up of two couples and three solo travellers, all from different countries. It was nice socializing and learning together in a casual atmosphere. I recommend doing the tour soon after arriving in San José so that you can use the information learned in your subsequent activities!

El tour me parece indispensable si quieres conocer más sobre la cultura del país, son 3 horas aproximadas y el Guia Braulio realmente sabe mucho y explica de una forma entretenida.

Brulio you rock man... One of the best free walking toyr in ages. Superp story telling with slow walk to enable you to grasp everything and couole of amazing breaks including one somewhere in the middle of the trip to enable to try local coffee or cas and one towards the to try local delicacies. He also gave suggestions on places to go after this and more importantly the places where one can volunteer. Awesome way ti start the joyrney in Costa Rica.

I took part in a free walking tour with a friend, our guide was Iso, she is the most cheerful and energetic person I have ever met, she really transmitted her passion for the city and her job and kept us very well entertained. She is just a wonderful professional!! Definitely recommend the tour, it was very educational and fun, we felt the real Tico hospitality! What a blast!

Unser Guide Iso war sehr engagiert und hat uns mit vielen fun facts San José näher gebracht. Es war von Geschichte, Politik, Obst alles an Infos dabei, um für unseren ersten Tag einen Rundum-Blick für Costa Rica zu erhalten.

If you registered for the free walking tour they would have sent you a confirming email - so they would have your email Address. After I had finished the wal they sent me another email with an evaluation I filled in and sent. If you do not get such an email I guess you could go to their website and search!! 😊

Hello, during the tour people enter at museums or just pass around?

The tour doesn't include trips to museums nor does it stop long enough to enter the museums. The good news is that San Jose is pretty small. It would be pretty easy to go back to any of the museums that you walk by during the tour. The tour walks by the National Museum and the Jade Museum. It starts and finishes right next to the National Theater and Cultural Plaza (with the Gold Museum). If you take the 9:00 am tour, you might want to eat lunch between the tour and going to a museum.
