While on our honeymoon, my wife and I discovered this private half day tour and thought it would be the perfect way to see more of the island of Tahiti. We had a great experience from the moment our host, Gana, picked us up at our hotel. He engaged with us immediately, was very easy to communicate with, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about all the cool things he showed us around the island. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tahiti!

Gana was a FANTASTIC guide: fun and super knowledgeable about Tahiti, Polynesian culture as well as the local flora and fauna to say just a few!!!! There was great communication with the company in the days before our trip. Despite their being road closures, we still managed to do all of the amazing spots and we had the best time (and a few nice surprises along the way). Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Tahiti

My wife and I did a full-day van tour around the island of Tahiti with Gana as our tour guide. Gana was very friendly, helpful, and informative. My wife has some mobility issues and the van was very easy to enter and exit. Gana very effectively tailored our tour with my wife's mobility issues in mind. We saw a lot of beautiful sights and learned a lot about the history of the island, including current events. I highly recommend Gana and this tour.

This was a great tour! I highly recommend it. Gana was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Tahiti and the French Polynesian islands from him and saw some great sites along the way. Thanks again Gana, hope to see you again!

We took the 1/2 day tour today with Gana as our tour guide and it was the absolute best way to see the island and its many sites. Gana is so well versed in everything French Polynesian. He is born and raised on the islands and shared so much information and history. He was a delight to spend the day with. My husband and I adored him. We can not recommend this tour enough. Don’t miss it if you come to Tahiti.

This was a great tour! We learned a Lot about the island and the culture. Our guide, Gana, was great at pacing the tour to our needs. He took us to some fantastic spots and was very knowledgeable about the fauna and foliage.

I will be arriving in Tahiti on February 8th. I was wondering if you do pick ups and drop offs to and from the Manava Suite and Hotel Resort? I am also looking to arrange a day tour with this company as well as airport drop off and will also need taxi service into town in order to go restaurant hopping for a few days. Thank You.

Hello Lythia718. At what time will you arrive in Tahiti-Faaa international airport on February 8th? If it’s between 8h-17h, it won’t be possible for me, I’m already booked for a full day tour by other guests. Which day would you like to join my Tahiti circle island tour? Drop you off at the airport after the tour is fine, I do that very often. On the other hand, I prefer to ask you to store your luggage at luggage storage service(pay service) in the airport terminal. I’m not comfortable when I have your important luggage in the car during the tour. I can’t look after all the time your luggage, everyone says that Tahiti is safe, but honestly we sometimes have car break in. I don’t want any drama just before your flight, this is why I prefer to ask you to use the airport storage service. For the taxi services to/from restaurant in Papeete, if I’m not busy I can do it. I look forward to hearing back from you.

We walk unpaved track about 250yd (230 meter) for each site. This 8 hour circle full day tour includes 8 sites around the island. Yes, there’s enough walking. Please participate in good health and wear comfortable walking shoes if you join this tour.

Hi crimsuntide, that’s Restaurant L’escale du France in Vairao. Great view, tasty local food, sometimes the service is slow but it’s worth. I recommend that you visit early(around 12h). Have a good one!

Hello, my husband and me (2 of us) will arrive Papetee at 1.40pm from Bora Bora by VT425 on the 15th June, Saturday.
Will you advise we can get a half day tour (4 hour) after we arrive (i think start around 2.15pm) Papetee airport with our luggage?
Or will any private 4-hour tour available on the 16th June morning? Cos we will take 5.30pm flight flying back Auckland. Many thanks.

Hello PhoebeFun! For the 15th June 2019, my shared minibus morning half-day 4 hours tour is not available, it’s makeable only in the morning and pick up at the airport is not available. For the 16th June 2019, I do a shared minibus full-day 8 hours tour. I already have 2 guests from Manava Suite Resort Tahiti. If you take a flight at 17:30pm, regrettably I’m unable to do a tour at that day. Only the way to make a tour from the airport on 15th June 2019 is a “Private 5 hours tour” by TOYOTA PRIUS. Can be very comfortable for your schedule, please think about it. Thank you for taking the time to leave me this question.

Hello Storyteller69676, thank you for asking. Yes, there are still several seats available for shared 8 hours Full-day Tahiti circle island tour on 16th March 2019. No Half-day tour takes place at that day, only shared Full-day tour. For the luggage, as we mentioned at Viator tour conditions, normally we are unable to store it. In the case of non full-booked(means if we have space on the back), and if other guests accept, we are able to go to airport and you can leave your luggages at storage service(it costs money). The problem is, we can know if we can do it or can not do it only few days before(you're on the ocean), tricky.. Lecently, a certain cruise company brings their guest's luggages to the airport then stores it until around 18:30 pm. Could you ask to your cruise ship company?
