“很多洞穴”

我开车来这个岛上的时候看见了这里。这些洞穴附近绿草如茵、还有很多小洞穴看起来很危险，但是大洞穴有很多当地人在这里游泳。水很清澈，很棒。停车很方便，洞穴距离主路也不远。附近还有很多卫生间。

“不要害怕在这游泳”

真的很漂亮的风景和美丽的石窟，水很冷，但不应该是不游泳的借口。如果你游泳，即使它是黑暗的，也要游到最后，尽头是一个可以坐下的小洞穴。

fascinating

We came here as part of our tour. The grotto was impressive. The water was clear and there was someone swimming in it. There was water dripping down from the top which was filled with ferns. I found the whole thing quite fascinating as i did not expect grottos to be inland.

3 grottos, swim, hike, smell the flowers

There are 3 grottos, the first one Maraa is the best. There were people swimming and wadding in the clear waters of the cave. The water drips from above. Some of the flowers along the trails are amazing. It was free and plan to spend 30 minutes or so here.

Stunning grotto with creepy eels

We stopped at the grotto on our tour. The leaves of the ferns were at least 3 feet long. The water was a pale blue. We were told if you went in there are eels.

De retour de la vague de Teahupoo?, après un arrêt au Jardin Botanique Harrison Smith, nous nous sommes arrêtés voir ces grottes. Ce ne sont pas vraiment des grottes mais plutôt des cavités dans la falaise. C'est sympa, gratuit et rafraichissant. Belle végétation autour, ça vaut le coup de faire la promenade à l'ombre et de voir les trois grottes

Petite étape agréable. Malgré les panneaux de baignade interdite les locaux semblent venir avec leurs enfants pour s'y baigner ! Bonne ambiance. Facilement accessible.

Cool geological formation

There is a small pull-off on the East (island) side of the main road with separate parking for visitors to the Grotto. It's a very short walk (2 min) to the main grotto - there is a much smaller one up front, so don't be fooled! The grotto itself was neat to see - the pictures don't do a good job of conveying just how deep (i.e. far back) the grotto goes. There was a sign that said no swimming, but people were...so swim at your own risk I guess?

A l'occasion d'un tour de l'île ou tout simplement pour vous promener, c'est à voir
Une belle végétation et une petite promenade courte mais apaisante
Prévoir de l'anti-moustiques si ces bestioles vous aiment
