Michelle and I had another wonderful trip with Jason. He is so much fun to fish with. We spent the incredibly rainy day fishing hard, telling stories, and swapping lies....mostly about the fish that got away. We did catch lots of fish and booked our next trip with Jason while we were in the boat. Cant wait!

We had a great experience! Both of our guides were kind and very helpful to our 13-year-old son who was excited to catch his very first salmon.

Very good fishing trip. Our guide Joe did a nice job. Only drawback for me was the company is set up for drift fishing. We were fishing on the lower Kenai and a faster boat would have been beneficial. Overall a great experience!

Everything about our trip was amazing. Jason met us at the boat ramp at 5:00am. We decided that we wanted an early start and he was happy to oblige. Jason is very knowledgeable and took time to teach us how to use his fly rods. His attention to detail, knowledge of the Russian river, and coaching made for a successful trip. We caught and released a good number of Sockeye salmon and kept a nice one for a couple of meals. Jason was an excellent tour guide as well as we learned much about the river and saw a black bear, beavers, many bald eagles.
I would highly recommend going out with Jason as he really worked hard to make sure we had a spectacular day.

What an outstanding and professional experience. Our guide Joe was top notch. I caught the largest fish of my life and had have memories with friends that I will hold dear forever. Thank you!

What a great trip!!! Jason was very professional and helpful with our reservation…Our guide was Joe and he is excellent. We had such a great day in a beautiful place — even though we came between Salmon runs and it was bad trip timing by us, they still knew right where to go —-> and we caught FISH!!!

Outstanding experience. Jason keeps it light and makes it as easy as it can be. He has a gift as a coach to talk and not talk at just the right time. I'm a repeat with Jason and enjoy the company as well as the tips. We'll be back next year!!

I may be pushing my luck to get all of these answers from the same person, but here goes: I am 84 years old but can get around rather well. I question what I would need to do in waders. My son and grandson (60 and 35) will be with me. How far are you from Anchorage? (We will be coming from Florida.) We want to fish for both salmon (trout?) and halibut. Do we do both with you? Where do we stay, probably at least two nights? What would be the cost for the fishing portion of what I have proposed?

Thanks, Jason. If we arrive in Anchorage after a 12-14 hour flight and drive to Cooper Landing that day and then rest, spend the next day fishing with you, then drive to Homer overnight, fish that day for halibut, stay overnight in Homer and then drive to Anchorage for our flight out, does that sound reasonable or is it too tight?
