My wife and I did a quad bike tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our guide (Louie) was very knowledgeable and took us up some of the back mountain roads to parts you cant get by car.
We did not break any land speed records, but never felt unsafe and enjoyed just seeing parts of the inner island as well as learning a bit about the place from a local.
It was the experience we were looking for. The same company do the buggys which is a different experience and I cant speak to that (depends what you are after).
We did do a loop through the mud track areas - so if your objective is to get covered in mud you have the option, but we were more about exploring and discovering the place.

Hooning around in the buggy is very fun. Also the mini buggys for the Mud run is crazy, make sure you take old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting filthy.

Absolutely my partners and I’s favourite thing that we have done while staying here in the beautiful Rarotonga. We got absolutely drenched in mud, got stuck a couple times but still had a blast! 100% recommend if you’re okay with getting muddy. The team at Coconut Tours are funny as, they had us smiling and laughing the whole time.
You should definitely give it a shoot if it seems like your kinda thing!

Highly recommend this quad tour if in raro! We happened to do the tour on a wet morning which made it all the more fun abs muddy! Amazing way to get a tour of the island also

So much fun! Such a great day! Be prepared to get muddy lol fantastic crew! We laughed all the way up to the waterfall! Highly recommended!

My husband and I done the 8.30am tour and it was only the 2 of us which was cool because it was like our own private tour. Tour guide takes us inland where it was sooo peaceful like a jungle paradise. We were giving a few legend stories and taken to a couple of different locations before we got down the the "FUN" stuff. Our guide let us play around for about 20mins then from there we headed to where we had some lunch but before that, we got to wash up down at the beach as we were covered in mud. All up the tour was about 3hrs??
The only downfall is that our quad bike constantly wouldnt start up or would just shut down. We had to wait for someone to bring us a replacement bike
Other than that, this tour wasnt too bad. If your not interested in history then I wouldnt recommend, stick to the buggys only. Those were deff the highlight of our trip

This tour is great especially for those who love to learn a little about the history of the country you visit.
Once the history side is done you get to play. It was only my partner and I so we really enjoyed it.

We had an amazing time with our two boys who are 6 and 8 the loved hanging on to us riding the quads through the water and mud....
The guide was great and the trip was fun from start to finish.....
We finished off with some great food

Raro Quad Tours
This was the BEST tour!!! Our host Emile was absolutely FANTASTIC!! We got to see the inner island and my goodness it was beautiful!! The landscape and Emile’s awesome story telling were second to none!! As farmers we ride four wheelers all the time, but we had a total rookie on our tour and she did great, so don’t worry about your skills. We did an early morning tour which meant there were only 3 guests, which was brilliant because we got such a personalised experience! We felt like Emile was a friend by the end, and we’ll definitely seek him out when we’re back in six months! Highly recommend!!!

What an excellent way to waste a few hours on Rarotonga, expect to get dirty and have fun, but this is not for wimps!
If you are wondering if you can do this... then give it a try. It was a bit our of my girlfriends's comfort zone but we persuaded to have her own quad and she loved it as it was easy to master and they don't go at crazy pace!
You do need a valid driver's licence to use your own quad.
You leave from Muri Beach Resort and they have an 8am and 12pm departures plus you get a sandwich and soda from the Moorings cafe afterwards. The local guides are great and very experienced and help you on your way.
Somethings to be aware of... wear old clothes! plus there is a website you can book through but get your resort or an agent to do it... the website will send you an email with a PDF to print off and return with your credit card details, I found it easier just to phone the Muri Beach Resort and pay directly over the phone, your reservations is NOT booked until you do this.

Hi we are coming over next year with a wedding party what is the max amount of people that can book thanks
what ages can children drive the bikes. Are 9 year olds too young if so can they come on the front or back of the bikes
