All Dive Rarotonga staff are really social and friendly. Because we had some last minute issues with cell phone coverage and therefore studying our online study materials before arriving on the island, Neil thought along to offer alternatives so it would best suit the companies' schedule as well as ours.
Selena was our instructor for the Scuba Diver Course and she was awesome. She gave clear instructions, gave us a calm impression in the water as well as on land and had a good sense of humor. We couldn't imagine a better instructor and better company to complete our Scuba Diver Course. If someone is interested in learning to dive or improving his or her diving skills with advanced courses, we would definitely recommend Dive Rarotonga!

Thanx again had the best day so far! Amazing dive, Steve and the others were so professional, made me feel safe and confident in the water, so much fun! I'm hooked!

Did a 2 tank dive with Neil and Steve, one at The MataOra wreck and the other at Edna’s anchor. A wonderful experience and the crew was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Saw great sea life, including a massive Moray eel, a huge green turtle and even heard whale song. A treat!

I just completed the Advanced Open Water Diver Course with Dive Rarotonga and had an incredible time! Neil was a great instructor who was very patient and knowledgeable, I felt very safe in his care. I can now say that after this course I am a lot more confident as a diver and am thankful for the skills I’ve strengthened and acquired throughout my time with Dive Rarotonga. My partner also did some fun dives while I was doing my course. He had Andie as a dive instructor and had an incredible time as well! I can highly recommend Dive Rarotonga to anyone wishing to scuba dive during their Cook Islands vacation!

This is my 2nd time diving with Dive Rarotonga and what a treat! They have great gear and are super professional. Neil handled the boat really well in choppy water on one of the days, and Selina is an excellent dive master. She's very patient and calming. The rescue cats at the dive shop are super cute!

Neil & Selina are fantastic - Selina is a very safety concious, patient instructor who made us feel incredibly well looked after. Neil is knowledgeable, interesting and also took great care of us watching the boat, they make a great team and we really enjoyed our trips out with them!
Highly recommend diving with Dive Rarotonga if you're looking for some fun, relaxing dives while on the island!

Excellent service and awesome dive! Both Neil and Selena were very approachable and informative. Though we hadn’t dived in a year they were very helpful and made the process very relaxing. Would definitely go to Dive Rarotonga again

Dive Rarotonga truly are professionals, they provided spectacular service! We did our PADI Open Water Dive certifications with them. Selina was our PADI instructor, she truly is AMAZING, we felt comfortable and calm every step of the way, she was patient and explained everything in detail. We loved that safety was always top of the mind. Highly recommend Dive Rarotonga

We dived with Dive Rarotonga twice, so a total of 4 dives altogether. My partner and I thought they were a great little dive company that we would recommend to others who are looking to dive whilst in Rarotonga. Particularly because we did dive with one other company (Pacific Divers) and in our opinion, we felt Dive Rarotonga were far better for a variety of reasons. Neil and Selena were very friendly and accommodating, the gear we rented was great quality and we had no issues whilst diving. Everything was well explained from trying gear on, getting it ready, introducing each dive site, dive safety and post dive instructions. Selena was our dive master for all four dives and was wonderful, very patient, professional and fun to dive with, even teaching us a few new things and kindly going through things step by step all with a smile.
The dive sites themselves were great, with a beautiful plethora of fish and other species seen. Each dive lasted up to 50 minutes, but that is purely through our personal air consumption, Selena was fantastic in regards to keeping a safe eye on us and our air, as well as guiding us at a nice relaxed pace around the sites. This and the incredible visibility (20-30m) allowed us to explore and take in the beauty of the reef.
We were gutted we couldn't have done more dives with Neil and Selena, they were fully booked until after we left, which speaks volumes.
Overall a friendly, professional, safe and highly recommended dive company to explore Rarotonga's ocean with.

The team at Dive Rarotonga are absolute champions! My partner and I did our PADI Open Water Dive certs with them and had the most wonderful experience. Neil, Selena and Zoe are an awesome crew, super professional and friendly, with so much experience and knowledge to share. Selena was our PADI instructor and I couldn't have imagined anyone better to take us through our open water journey. She has the patience of a saint and made the whole experience fun and relaxed, all while making sure we were making progress and confident in the water. They know the island and the dive sites like the back of their hands. We were also able to purchase some top quality gear at their shop which we are very happy with. Highly reccomend doing your PADI certs. and discovery dives with these guys. You'll have lots of laughs and make some wonderful memories while you enjoy the beautiful world below 💙💦🐢

I noticed hotel booking websites say "designated smoking areas" yet your website says the property is non-smoking. Could you please clarify?

Where does it say that Andrew? Are you talking about a resort, we are a dive centre not a hotel. The law in the Cook Islands says that you can't smoke at a business along with covered area and public area's such as the market. So you can't smoke at our dive centre. Hope that helps.
