What a lovely place! Located in Girdwood, this is an easy hike to a beautiful waterfall, with rocky walls in a lush, temperate rainforest setting. Easy to get to, and takes a few minutes to hike to the falls. Watch your step as the trail has a lot of roots. Highly recommended! We stopped here on our way from Anchorage to Seward, but you can also stop here on your way from Seward or Whittier to Anchorage.

Beautiful waterfall with short and easy walk to see it. My teen boys walked in the water and they should not have without protective shoes as they both cut their feet. The water is very cold. The rainforest is gorgeous and unexpected! What a beautiful little treasure. There is parking on the road and we had a 26 foot RV. A large RV may have difficulty turning around to park.

This is a small waterfalls situated near a residential area. Not much parking at the trail head with tow zone signs scattered around. It’s about a quarter mile to the falls, so it’s a very easy hike. Less than 15 minutes round trip. If you want to break up your trip from anchorage to Seward or Homer with a quick stop, consider this. It’s about a ten minute drive off the Seward highway at Girdwood turnoff

This was a well marked trail entrance with limited parking out front as it is on residential gravel road with new home construction. It is an easy .5 mile hike in and out total. The water roars over the falls and it is a beautiful rainforest canopy with hemlocks and moss and ferns. Very nice!

Perfect morning mini-hike. Took less than 10 minutes. A little damp out there - but it’s an easy trail with a waterfall reward in the Girdwood area.

Fun, easy hike through the woods with the family. You walk along the river the whole way and can go as far as you want. Pretty views throughout.

We were staying at the Hidden Creek B&B and were told of a local hike that featured a great water falls. Little did we know the trailhead was at the end of a street in the same development we were staying. The trailhead is not marked very well but when we found it we experienced an easy 1/2 mile trail through hemlock trees ending in a great glacial stream and waterfalls of 25 to 50 feet. A real hidden gem.

This is an easy and highly accessible hike along a stunningly picturesque rushing river, punctuated by a modest but attractive waterfall. Came with kids as young as 12, and they really enjoyed it.

We rented a great AirB&B near here so we had to try this. It was quite beautiful! The only thing I would say not good was the mosquitos were fierce so our natural bug spray was iffy. And there were people with some mean dogs that were looking like they would escape the leash at any moment, which made it a bit stressful. There were also quite a few people for such a narrow trail so the word is out that it is a tourist spot. On a different day and time would probably have been better. It was quite beautiful.
