The manager, Darkana, went above and beyond in correcting an issue with our booking through a third party. Within minutes she took a negative situation and turned it into amazing when she did not need to do so. She organized a river rafting tour for us that was fantastic. Our guide, Davis, was not only knowledgeable but fun to be with and knew how to expertly maneuver our raft. We saw so many bald eagles and gorgeous scenery. I highly recommend this company. Planning our next cruise to Skagway and will book directly through them.

Nick and Wes were amazing guides! During the quick ride through and out of town, Nick shared historical (and comical) tidbits about sights and developments we passed. After arriving at the base camp, we hiked up to the climbing area and geared up with the provided harness, helmet, and climbing shoes. Wes gave coaching on how the gear should fit and an informative safety talk. Then the actual climbing began. After a quick warm-up climb to get the hang of the shoes, we tackled an 80-foot climb. The guys were great about giving helpful instructions if you were unsure about where to go next. We followed that up with hiking to the top of the climbing area and rappelling down. The views were breathtaking, the guides were outstanding, and the climbing itself was extremely fun.

My family booked the Rock Climbing, Rappelling, and Ziplining excursion when our cruise ship stopped in Skagway on 8/20/19. The outing was even better than we expected. Our guides, Andy B and Eric B are amazing! When they weren’t tending to safety matters, Andy and Eric kept us laughing with their jokes and stories. In addition, they were extremely patient and encouraging with all of us, even the less adroit members of the family. (We were all able to make it up the wall, then down the wall, and then zipping along toward the end of the excursion). It was SO much fun!
I also wanted to commend them for their well-run adventure business. The equipment was top-notch and we never felt any trepidation at all. You can be sure we’ll recommend you to anyone we know going to Skagway, and we hope to eventually return for more adventures ourselves.

Kayaking on Chilkoot Lake was by far the highlight of my Alaska trip! The peacefulness of the calm lake with it's misty over-layer is embedded in my memory. Having glaciology student Chris McAffrey as our guide was great: he had lots of information to share and made us all feel very comfortable kayaking, though some in our group had never done it before. We were lucky enough to see salmon spawning (though we kept our distance, of course), mergansers, sapsuckers, and of course, eagles and ravens. Bring your camera and quick-dry clothes (or clothes to change into).

We boekten deze excursie via NCL. De tour was goed geregeld maar alsnog waren er zeer veel momenten van 'wachten'. Er waren nog tamelijk veel deelnemers die dag waardoor het zeker meer dan een half uur duurde alvorens iedereen in de kayak zat en we konden vertrekken...
De natuur was zeer mooi; de zalm, eagles,...prachtig. Ook de gidsen waren vriendelijk en informatief.
Grote minpunt voor ons was het feit dat iedereen in de groep aangaf graag een beer te zien. Op de terugweg aan Chilkoot river heb je daarvoor zeker de kans. De buschauffeur meldde echter onmiddellijk dat hij de bus niet ging stoppen (smalle weg). En inderdaad bij het zien van een beer op de terugweg was het elk voor zich in de bus. Iedereen sprong op en probeerde een glimp op te vangen van de beer. Gezien het gaat over een hoogtepunt tijdens je reis was dit zeer teleurstellend. In feite zou een stop aan de rivier (al dan niet met een beer in zicht) een onderdeel van de excursie moeten zijn. Tijdsgebrek kan geen excuus zijn gezien het vele wachten tijdens de excursie. Nu voelde het alsof het een schooluitstap was...Voor ons was dit een leuke uitstap maar het kon beter...

We booked the Klondike Rock Climbing and Rappelling Adventure through our Alaskan cruise excursion office and it was just a great experience for our family. We have three teen girls and they each enjoyed the outing even though they have different levels of experience with rock climbing and each are different in terms of their risk tolerance. Even I, the 54-year-old mom, got up there and did it! Ethan, Taylor and Austin were just awesome at making everyone feel comfortable, safe and excited about trying rock climbing. They made us laugh the whole time. The girls met other teens their age through the trip and that meeting extended onto the ship. Highly recommend this trip and company.

My family went rock climbing July 26th as a cruise excursion. It was definitely our favorite excursion of the trip. My husband, 13, 12, and 9 year-old children, and I all had a really great experience. Our guides, Ethan and Quinn were wonderful. Ethan shared a lot of information and definitely entertained us on the way to and from the site. While there, both Ethan and Quinn were knowledgeable, supportive, and very encouraging. Even when we I decided not to attempt rappelling and walked back down, they were patient and understanding. Would recommend these guides and this excursion as a part of your family vacation!

Our favorite excursion on our cruise to Alaska was the kayaking on Chilkoot Lake. Our Guides Cody, I believe Doug, were great. The equipment guy, Trevor was fantastic too. Saw beautiful scenery, spawning salmon, and even bears. Their knowledge made the experience even better. I highly recommend this trip.

Doug our tour guide was excellent. He knew a lot about many things and made the day very enjoyable. This tour works well because it offers activities that are not very common on tours.

Had a wonderful time ziplining in Skagway. Taylor, Nick and Ethan were really wonderful and helpful to those in our group who were struggling a bit. Have done this numerous times before, and this was terrific! They team all paid attention to detail and made everyone feel very able to participate!

I didn't do the zipline there either, but on our trip our rock climbing was in the morning so we had time to wander the city as well.
