Nice for elderly and children as the trek is not difficult. It took about 45 minutes to reach the amazing sunrise view point. We had a friendly guide and he was so professional on his work. Crossing by boat and hot spring are great value in this tour

It's definitely an activity you don't want to miss in Bali. The sunrise was spectacular however check with your guide regarding the haze. It's a pretty challenging hike. Overall worth it and I'd definitely recommend doing it if you're game.
Swimming in the hot springs afterwards makes the challenging climb worth it. Whatever you do, don't miss the hot springs. You want at least 1-2 hours there. Plan to haves cocktails and lunch there instead of going to the lunch place that's booked by the tour. Yes it's more expensive but totally worth the serenity.

We had great fun taking pictures, Peutu had some great ideas for photo opportunities and he made sure we were all safe and helped out at any time it was slippery. The boat trip across Lake Batur was fun and so beautiful. After saying goodbye to Putu, Jero drove us to the hot springs. A lovely soak after all the walking, towels, snacks and a drink were provided. Overall we rate this as one of the best activities we have done in Bali- worth every penny and definitely worth setting the alarm for 3am. Thank you to Putu and Jero.

If you go to Bali, Caldera Batur is a must. There are a million ways to do a Batur hike, but doing a sunrise hike with our guide, Putu, was incredible. Putu is amazingly knowledgeable about when the sun rises and the history of the volcano. Definitely would recommend Putu!

Really good experience to hike volcano.need stamina but not very tough trip. The day was nice and cool, but the clouds were in and out so the view of the top was not continuous.
