Great experience taking 4 private surf classes

I had an amazing experience surfing at Nengah's surf school and can 100% recommend it. My instructor Budi was very encouraging and despite my very short stay in Canggu I was able to catch many fun waves thanks to his support. They also had a great choice of boards, and I really appreciated the commitment to find suitable conditions for my level. I also booked a photographer for one session and was really happy with the pictures. Thanks guys - I hope to come back soon!

Great surfing with awesome coaches

We went surfing for 3 days with Nengah and Gunda (hope I spelt his name right!). My daughter and I went with Nengah while my son and husband were with Gunda. Nengah was super patient and encouraging. He gave us tips and I managed to catch a wave on the first go! My daughter took longer but once she got the hang of it she loved it. Nengah was caring and always looked out for us. The boys said the same about Gunda. They really enjoyed surfing with him. We all had a great time. Thanks Nengah and Gunda!

Fantastic surf guiding

My son and I visited Bali in mid-April 23 and found Budi at Nengah’s surf school. He was brilliant!! My son and I are not true beginners (the school teaches them too) but we are still learning, getting used to green waves. Budi found us good spots every time. There was a big swell when we were there so finding the right places that we would cope with was key. Budi never failed, driving us to wherever we needed to be (Sanur and Kuta) and providing boards. Every day in the water he made sure he were in the right position to catch the right waves and had a steady flow of helpful tips. And he was delightful company at the same time. We had the best time and both improved a lot. We were very lucky to have found Budi and can recommend him strongly!

Best kid surfing class

my 10Y daughter joined Nengah’s private surfing class for 3 days during our 6 days trip in Bali. My daughter surfed in HK. Canggu’s wave is definitely better for her level. Teacher Judy took care of her for the 3 days. He observed her and then taught her some techniques to improve. We saw a big difference after her private sessions. Judy is super patient and kind. It made the class more enjoyable… I highly recommended Nengah’s surfing class.

Good surfing expertise and good value.
I surfed a 7'6 with a personal coach who chose the site and time each morning, starting as early as 6 am, depending on tide, wind and waves.
When your coach tells you where to wait, indicates the good wave, and gives you a push, you spend most of your time standing on your board.

Nice 1-2 hr surfing lesson at 6am (before crowds)

He kept an easy-going approach. We met a few minutes inland behind the "Burgers" shop in a small alley where they have an established shop.

The instructor spent 5 minutes teaching us the basics of surfing and we were off! I had to stop after 1 hour but we had a 2 hr lesson and it was good fun, my partner stood up for 8 seconds after her 3rd go!!

Best choice!

I had a package deal of 5 x two hour surf lessons to progress my surfing and they did just that! Compared to back in the uk the price was very reasonable! I would highly recommend surfing with Nengah’s wonderful team. They were all kind and experienced surfers and were all keen to help. The communication was great too. I had Wayan for my last surf lesson which was a perfect end to my surfing experience in Bali he was so wonderful and answered all my (many) questions! Thank you so much Nengah and his team!

Nengah ist ein sehr guter Surfinstruktor. Er ist super geduldig und kann das Können anderer exzellent einschätzen.

Una fortuna trovarlo! Abbiamo deciso all’ultimo con mio marito di andare a surfare per l’ultimo giorno a Bali, abbiamo scelto Canggu! ho scritto a Nengah alle 2 del pomeriggio e ha risposto immediatamente! Ha organizzato tutto velocemente e Alle 4 eravamo giá in acqua con Agustin, un istruttore freelance che è stato grandioso! Onde pazzesche ma con lui mi sono sentita veramente al sicuro! Ottimo inglese veramente e bellissima attitude..come la maggior parte dei Balinesi..che ormai adoro!! Consigliatissimo

I absolutely loved this surf school. The instructors are really kind and patient and so helpful. I was a complete beginner at surf but felt like I progressed really quickly because the lessons were 1-2-1.
