Amazing hike and excellent tour operator
Incredible experience - well worth the challenge. Mr Tinh was so lovely and helpful and our tour guide kept us at a good pace. The picnic on the mountain was the perfect stop. Highly recommend this tour operator and experience.

Fantastic day trip trek

A wonderful trekking experience, Mr Thinh organised everything so well and the local guide was absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable and knew the terrain perfectly, then he made a great lunch at base camp 2 to prep us for the final ascent! An all round amazing experience, thanks so much 🙏

Excellent service, great price!

Family run business that really puts their customers first. Took a day trek up to fansipan, with a gondola ride down. Our guide was great and helped to carry our bags when we got cramped; she even cooked us lunch - which was so much food for two people! You can't beat the price for this trip, especially if you book directly with them.

Amazing experience!

Had the best experience! We did the 3 day/2 night Sapa trek. It was challenging, but so worth it. The views were amazing, the villages so interesting, and the homestays were so welcoming.
Mr Tinh managed everything from beginning to end, was always keeping in touch to ensure we were ok.
It was our guide, Mu, who made it all so special. She was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun. She also made the descents look very easy!
The welcome at the homestays were amazing, the food plentiful, and the happy water flowed!
Would highly recommend

Amazing Hike with an Amazing Guide.

The whole experience was amazing with the best guide and porter! From hotel pickup all the way through the hike to the logistics back to Hanoi the team looked after us. We could not have asked for more.

Extremely rewarding but prepare for a challenge!

The views on this walk are absolutely stunning but make no mistake it is seriously hard work! You definitely need a guide to do this, and ours (Chay) was excellent at getting us to the top. We're a young healthy couple (26-29) and honestly we agree its one of the hardest things we've done but it is so rewarding and you experience so much more of the natural beauty by walking up instead of the cable car. If you make the decision to get the cable car down for 800,000 each (instead of walk down) you can take the walk at a much nicer pace and enjoy it more, otherwise it is quite rushed doing both ways. The lunch was ample and delicious and Chay carried this for us. We are so pleased we achieved this hike, and were given national park medals at the top for making it up which was a nice touch. Despite changing the plan to get the cable car down, a car was waiting for us to take us back to our hotel. It was only us with one guide and the whole trip was well organised.

Overall would highly recommend this trip (but just admit to yourself early that you'll get the cable car down and then enjoy the hike at a much better speed).

Très bon trek
Très bon trek, l'organisation était au top. La guide très sympathique. Le repas du midi succulent et copieux.
Je recommande vraiment.

Worth the cost!

I was nearly deterred by the price for a single person, but it was so worth it. My guide Cho was so great. His English was really really good and he was super friendly from the start. He was good about going at a pace that was good for me, but also didn’t underestimate me as a solo female hiker! And we made pretty good time :) He also frequently pointed out plants and gave me information about the terrain and local life along the way. The views were incredible and lunch was nice and filling, and they accommodated me as a vegetarian. The hike is long and steep but is not technically challenging - there are stairs and ladders put in along the way. And you get a medal and certificate at the summit which makes you feel like you accomplished something!! I would highly recommend if you’re on the fence. Thanks for a great hike!

Do yourself a favor and book your trek at Sapa Original Trek!

To say that the lovely people at Sapa Original Trek go above and beyond for you would be an understatement! I did the one day trek up Fansipan mountain. The communication with Mr Tinh went very easily, via e-mail and WhatsApp. The hike was pretty tough, but really rewarding, with amazing views. Chai was my guide, and he was really great! He is funny, speaks English well, and made a lovely lunch for me.
But not only the hike was great, the service surrounding it was as well! When I got back, I had four hours or so before I had to catch my night bus to Hanoi. I could take a shower at Sapa Original Trek's house, and use a bedroom for as long as I wanted, allowing me to stretch my sore muscles, and even take a nap! And to top it all off, Mr. Tinh took me to the bus station, so I didn't even have to get a cab.
To conclude, I am so impressed by the hospitality and kindness of everyone at Sapa Original Trek! 😁

Great time in Sapa!

Amazing trek in Sapa. The owners helped us with everything, we could have taken shower in the office after the trek and the owner even picked us up to the place from where we had the next bus. Our guide was also very nice, communicative and helpful. Highly recommended!
