Go early as it gets really hot, especially in July. People should really leave their dogs home, just too hot for them.
Lots of vendors. 2 good bread places each different breads and pastries. The local produce was pretty pricey. The local eggs $7 for a dozen ...really? Couple of local honey vendors, reasonable. Will go back again...and then go to breakfast at one of many to choose.

We've done the downtown Phoenix Farmer's Market. And the Scottsdale one. We wanted to try something different. So we drove to Gilbert. They have a nice market with the usual myriad of booths. Though, it seemed like fewer actual food venues. There appeared to be lots of ‘snack’ places (breads/pastries, chocolates, specialty foods) and a lot of other places (soaps, several pet food places, jewelry). But the food tents/trucks seemed to have long lines due to their scarcity. But we found one. And toured the Market. Across the street was a craft fair. But, we didn’t go over to it. It was a fun way to begin a weekend morning (and get something to eat).
Glad we ventured out.

What a great farmers market. So many choices of food to eat there or buy for later. Convenient to downtown so we were able to explore Gilbert too. Loved it. Great for couples or families

We had a fun time at the farmers market! It is a great place to walk around, eat some yummy food and support local businesses!

According to the google search we were in the right place and I expected to see an abundance of tents and the typical displays of the farmers market but it did not exist. There was much construction in the area so it was possible the market was suspended while I was in Chandler. Unfortunately, all of the searches suggested it was active at the time.

This is a very nice farmers market with lots os stands and food trucks and plenty of free parking. Our best discovery was the tamale store. The best tamales.

Yes, there is lovely produce in season but there is so much more. Many food trucks and vendors to grab a yummy meal or snack. And a great variety of vendors with bread, olives, chocolate, even flavored vodka. They are only open until noon so go early. Many of the vendors are local so it is a great way to support the awesome community of Gilbert.

Easy to get to and well worth the trip! Love the variety of Food Trucks and Vendors. Want natural dog treats? Done! Want some great salsa? Done! And the list goes on. In the area? GO!
