Horrible place, teh facilities are run down, the food is mediocre and you don't even get what you paid for .. after complaining you get a sorry we will address but no refund .. so don't waste your money !!

I Love Mangwanani African Spa because the staff are professional, caring and go beyond your expectations of a lovely afternoon of pampering. I would definitely recommend the Spa.

The Spa is in need of some serious upgrading........
Was very disappointed in the changing facilities - the ladies' bathroom (of which there is only one), has a total of 2 toilet cubicles. There are no private cubicles in which to change, and the gowns provided to wear for treatments are old and threadbare.
There is no casual sitting area/lounge (for between treatments), but you are rather requested to sit at a designated table in the communial dining area.
We booked a morning half day special. Breakfast was pre-plated and served (a small bowl of fruit, yoghurt and meusli, and two muffins. It would have been much nicer to be able to have a choice from a buffet selection.
The therapists were very professional and pleasant, and the treatments varied from good to excellent.
A huge disappointment was when we were scheduled for our "head and neck" massages. We were totally shocked to have been seated for this treatment in the same area where other patrons were having foot massages, considering we had to partially dis-robe for this treatment !!!!! Privacy would have been appreciated.

I am extremely disappointment with the service my daughter and I received during our recent visit to your spa. We booked the Afternoon Half-Day Spa as a special treat for my daughter, who was visiting from Cape Town. The booking times, as stated on your website, are from 12 to 4 pm, with instructions to arrive 15 minutes early, which we did.
Upon arrival, the reception we received was far from warm and welcoming. We were shown to a table and left waiting for 20 minutes before being offered tea. After 45 minutes, we were informed that there was a delay and that lunch would be served shortly. The lunch portion, when it finally arrived, was disappointingly small.
Our first treatments began nearly two hours after our arrival. At 4 pm, which was the scheduled end time, we were just starting our third and final treatment. Unfortunately, we had to cut this treatment short as we had another engagement at 4:30 pm. Despite informing the hostess of our time constraint, no effort was made to accommodate our schedule.
Additionally, while waiting at our table between treatments, we noticed that the therapists seemed disorganized, often walking past without direction, and there was a lot of shouting and rushing around. This chaotic atmosphere made the experience quite stressful, contrary to what one would expect from a spa visit.
Furthermore, my daughter left her bracelet in the gown. When I phoned two days later to ask if I could come and collect it, I was told that the manager and bathroom attendant had not found it.
Overall, this experience was very disappointing and stressful, and I would not recommend your spa to anyone based on this visit. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to improve the service for future clients.

Highly disappointed.
I thought for an international hotel and casino, id see some serious class, uhhhh no, far from it infact. Besides the NOISE, there was a gardener that walked past an open blind whilst i and my partner were changing. But the best was the tiny shoe box of a room we were placed in.... We were moved whilst on our massage bed, supposed to be tranquily enjoying our (not so cheap massage), horrid, horrid, horrid. Would rather pay to NOT go there, sadly i didn't read all the reviews before picking this place, was hard to find a good one,!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.....was absolutely a disappointing experience. Gowns and other linens were dirty, they gave me a locker that doesn't lock. They were not prepared for any of my treatments...found myself loitering around being sent in all sorts of directions. It was horrible.

As a first time visitor to the spa I felt it was average. Clearly didn't see all the hype in this venue. Breakfast was standard - muesli with yogurt, 3 pieces of fruit on a skewer and 2 muffins. Lunch - 2 options either a veg/chicken wrap. In-between drinks provided or asked for. Meals could be increased to more options considering the price paid. The massages were nice however could be better. Some massages are painful especially the body scrubs with the sugar.
Change room - limited space to change into gowns or back into your casual wear. Never got to see the garden and pool area to relax. Everything is rushed to meet 4.30pm.
Masseurs are all friendly. Good experience nonetheless.

We went for the moonlight spa. We got beautiful snacks, lots of drinks and wraps as the meal. They had cake for dessert. There were three treatments: first: head, neck, shoulder, back massage, next we had a leg and foot scrub and massage. We ended off with a full body hot stone massage. Great stress reliever
