I spent 3 weeks at Felidae as a volunteer, what an amazing experience! You directly feel part of the nice family Burger who really takes care of those beautiful cats and other animals. I did different work like food preparing, cleaning, enrichment and I had the opportunity to help with building enclosures for new cats. If you are a cat lover, this sanctuary is the perfect place to go!

Unforgettable , the word that describes my actual feelings about my volunteer experience in south africa ... I am already missing it and I just left yesterday... Everything from the people to the animals , passing by the landscapes , the amazing food done by papa nico , the best chef you could ever met ! Felidae will steel your heart 💕🇿🇦 Everyone should have the opportunity to have this one ( or more if possible) time experience ! Adeline Marée

Felidae is a place I will return to many times🤩 You feel welcome already from when they pick you up in the airport🤗. It is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world while you at the same time is around beautiful and cute animals🌍🐆🦁🐒. The people running the farm makes you a part of their family👩❤️👨💖. The food is amazing!!😋 All the experiences we had on the farm was truly inspiring and nice. Do yourself a favour and put 3 weeks or more aside to a trip to Felidae, you won't regret it, so truly worth it🫶love to Felidae Centre✨

Great place to visit. The Burger family has so much love for these lions, cats, monkeys and other animals they care for. The tour is given with so much passion, you must visit this special place. Volunteers help keep things running, among other things. You can also sleep in a very luxurious lodge where you can see the lions drinking from the bathroom. Fantastic.

Such a wonderful place to visit for a weekend away. The owners are so accommodating and friendly. The accommodation was cozy. Listening to the roars of lions at night was amazing and getting up close to the big cats was just breath taking. Thank u Burger family.

Wow what an amazing experience. Came to see the big hole in Kimberly, but this turned out to be the highlight of our trip! Amazing hosts and spectacular viewing of animals. A must see

There are not many places where you can get up close to big cats but the Felidae Centre is one of them. Being close to a purring Cheetah is one the highlights of the visit. Also, I got a very good feeling about the work they are doing to look after the animals that end up in Felidae.

My kids had the best expierence ever, feeding animals and then the top event getting to meet the most beautiful cheetah ever. The owners and vilunteers are very friendly and full of information, big thumbs up you guys are doing a fantastic job 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

How much is the entrance fee and how far apart is it from the Big Hole... I'm coming to Kimberly for a week with my fiancé on the first week of December 2017 and I'm looking for things to do and attractions to see.. your response would be highly appreciated

Hi, sorry but I don't know. With some of these setups, you get your board and lodgings in exchange for your assistance, but in this case, I really don't know. Suggest you contact them directly, but I would be quite interested to know if you do manage to get a response!
