Great experience and incredible value. Loved the smells and the artistry of the barrels. Wonderful guide. Tour finished with 5 official generous tastings and 2 bonus ones cos we loved everything about the tour experience

We had a pvt dinner here, really a bucket list experience surrounded by so much wine history. Dood was great and the carved giant wine barrels are truly spectacular. Loved it

One of the largest producers in SA. A lovely tasting room including cellar tours if you are interested. Very well runned establishment

We always visit KWV for a tasting and usually mix a wine tasting with a brandy tasting. The latter is always good. Also, there are often new things to taste like the Sally Williams nougat liqueur. The prices to buy both this and the brandy are also very competitive.

Recently we had a Five Star ⭐️ plus luncheon with 20 friends at this venue in the Cathedral Cellars
Chef Mynhardt and his team presented us with a fantastic menu of locally produced products offering some Tapas to start with local Cheeses , Dips & Charcuterie Meats plus thereafter a Superb Seafood Salad with Watermelon and Beetroot Emulsion
The Main was Aged Fillet of Beef , with Mushrooms , Baby Heirloom Tomatoes and a Remolata Sauce , was absolutely divine
Lastly the Summer Pavlova with Fruits and Berries was a perfect end to the meal and all KWV wines and Brandy’s were spot on
Food . Staff and Service was WOW

è una delle cantine principali da visitare nelle winelands, non molto distante da cape town; il giro è molto interessante perché spiega il processo di realizzazione del vino e si svolge in varie aree di KWV; è possibile anche degustare diversi vini nei pressi dello shop, dove peraltro la scelta di souvenir e vini in generale è davvero ampia

What an awesome offering for kids. They have 2 kiddies pairings available. My daughter loved it. Pochia that conducted our tastings was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will highly recommend to visit them

I was seriously looking forward to a good tasting experience at Kwv, but was honestly disappointed..::: so clear staff are not trained, but lack or personal touch like at Nederburg shocked me

We chose the ‘cheesecake and MCC’ (3 cheesecakes and 3 MCC) and also the Mentors (5 wines of your choice from a menu) plus we also ordered the cheese platter all to share. Really liked the choice of tastings
The service was ok, friendly, not terribly informative and sadly one of the wines served on the mentors was corked (not slightly either!) we sent it back and the server was very apologetic, but not really what I’d expect in a winery!
We didn’t feel particularly special, it was for us all a little commercial.
The cheese platter was at best average and not all the cheese listed on the menu actually arrived.
The service was ok, friendly, not terribly informative and sadly one of the wines served on the mentors was corked (not slightly either!) we sent it back and the server was very apologetic, but not really what I’d expect in a winery!

"Thank you so much" to the KWV Wine Emporium for high level quality time for both the cellar tour and wine tasting. It was a professional, perfect arrangement with a very good trained staff.
