igreja de São João Baptista - praça central da cidade velha de Tomar, Portugal. Atualmente encontra-se fechada para reforma e cercada de tapumes que impede qualquer visualização.

Si trova nella parte storica di Tomar sulla Praca da Republica, ricca di piccoli caffè/bar intorno alla piazza.
La chiesa fu costruita nel 15° secolo, molto attraente. L'abbiamo vista mentre eravamo al Castello. Non ci siamo avventurati all'interno.

A Igreja dedicada à São João Batista está localizada na Praça da República de Tomar. A igreja é um charme e tem um interior lindo, além da sua torre que rouba olhares. Está aberta diariamente e o acesso é gratuito.

This is located in the historical part of Tomar on the Praca da Republica, plenty of small eating café/bars around the square.
The church was built in the 15th Century, very attractive. We saw views of it whilst at the Castel . We did not venture inside

Igreja mais emblemática desta cidade, situada na sua praça mais central. Templo de fachada simples, mas dotado de história e beleza. Interessante altar e pinturas da época. Vale bem a visita e uma oração, para que uma segunda visita se venha a concretizar.
