We were looking for some more wines to take home with us. We found this little shop in San Telmo, and we noticed the prices were much lower than shops around Av. Florida.
After we made our selection, we got a recommendation for lunch while the wines were packed. We came back to pick them up and all was great. Plan to visit upon our return to Buenos Aires!

Gran vInoteca atendida por Juan, quien con excelente criterio te ayuda a elegir el mejor vino. Siempre dan ganas de volver a comprar. Ideal si sos turista y andas paseando por San Telmo. Se habla inglés. Buenos precios.

I have been buying wine from Juan for many years and can't believe I am only now getting around to writing a review. As per the title, Juan is my wine guru when in Argentina. I can describe what I like and what I want to pay and he gets it right every time. He is also ready to offer suggestions and will describe a wine accurately if you don't know what you want. Super great selection of wine and wine paraphernalia (looking for a gift?) and he sells artesanal beer now too! Go check it out.

We stopped by Vinotango by chance as we were in the area and love to see different Wines. Juan was brilliant and talked us through Wines of Argentina, showing us a lot of different types and where they were produced on the map. We gave him a kind of price range we were looking to buy from and From his recommendation we brought one. We opened it a few days later and it was fantastic, such a good depth of flavour. One of the best Argentinian wines we have had. Thankyou Juan
