Magnificent architecture of the Palacio Errázuriz Alvear, on Av. Del Libertador, where the National Museum of Decorative Art is located. Admission is free and free and you can visit the different rooms that make up the place, from the sumptuous park, its entrance with columns, the entrance by an imposing marble staircase, passing to different halls. Then on the upper floor the rooms and bathrooms stand out, plus the library and living areas. All period furniture and mostly produced in France. Imposing master dining room with all its furniture. Walls with imported marbles and noble wooden floors. Various tapestries adorning walls as well as exquisite paintings. Lots of china china china, high-end, in the form of vases, vases, etc. Bedrooms with the beds of the period. Unmissable.

Good museum, former home. Cute restaurant/ cafe in front. You course go there first and then go into museum at 1pm since it opens late (1pm). We weee there about 45 minutes. Plenty.

Wonderful. My husband isn't very excited about going to art museums, rs. But he fell in love with this ride. The house is huge, it has many beautiful works of art, and it touches our imagination, makes us think about the wealth of the people of that time and what they did in each room.
We saw that the house has “various hidden accesses”, for example, in the couple’s bathroom, on the wooden wall, of course we can’t see. But that made me very curious hehe I would definitely come back again. Ah, entrance is totally free.

It is a museum that exhibits a sample of what has been the aristocracy of the city of Buenos Aires in the Recoleta area through the rooms and halls of this mansion. It is an impressive place to visit, and there are temporary exhibitions underground. Admission is free and there is a sweet shop inside the property, next to the entrance. What you should know in advance is that if you carry a backpack it has to be placed on the front, it is an obligation on the part of the museum. Personally, I felt that the museum was missing something, such as an audio guide, although in general terms I enjoyed it a lot.

Great museum, well putted. Decoratife art in full sence. Nicely organized, well blended historical artefacts with modern sculptures for example. You can come by Hop-on-hop-off bus, spend lovely 1-2hours. Free entrance

I LOVED THE MUSEUM, BEAUTIFUL AND RICH. WELL CAREFUL GARDEN, AND THE PALACE IS EXCELLENTLY MAINTENANCE. VERY WORTH THE VISIT. THEY DO NOT CHARGE ENTRY TO THE MUSEUM.

Je me suis trompée et aimerais reprendre cet avis ... ce ne sont pas les artistes argentins et sud américains mais une demeure européenne avec un joli café à l'entrée où on peut se reposer ... pensez vous que l'on puisse le "re" rédiger" ? Merci pour votre aide !

No es un museo de arte argentino sino un excelente ejemplo del estilo de vida de la alta burguesía argentina de fines del XIX que vivía según los cánones europeos. Por eso es un museo de arte decorativo y no de pintura. Para ver pintura sugiero los museos MALBA, Nacional de Bellas Artes y el Fortabat en Puerto Madero entre muchos otros.

Segundo o site do museu, a entrada custa 20 pesos (aposentados e menores de 12 anos não pagam).
O horário de funcionamento é das 14h às 19 horas, de terça-feira a domingo. Segunda-feira o museu fica fechado.
Terça-feira a entrada é grátis para todos.
