My friend and I visited Buenos Aires in July and after researching, discovered Mani's shopping tour. I could not think of thing I'd rather do than shop on my birthday, so I didn't hesitate to book the tour and I'm so happy I did! Our shopping tour of Buenos Aires took place on our first full-day in the city, which was very useful since we were able to familiarize ourselves with it while on the tour. Mani was also super helpful because she was able to recommend a safe way to exchange our dollars into pesos.
Since we'd booked a half-day tour, we visited four separate shops. I'd told Mani that I wanted to get a custom-made leather jacket, so we started our day at Silvia y Mario. We loved the shop and the shopkeepers so much that we purchased multiple jackets and accessories. What I loved about the tour is that three out of the four shops were so underground that we'd never have discovered them without this tour. My other favorite shop was Vero Forrest where we purchased a few items of clothing as well.
Our tour ended with a glass of wine and easy conversation in a cozy wine shop. Mani is lovely (as is her intern Sam) and we had the BEST time. Thanks to Mani & Sam, I had an amazing birthday.
If you're interested in finding unique items you'd find no way else, do not hesitate to book with Mani!
Side note: travel to Argentina with as many dollars as you possibly can because you'll end up paying WAY less than if you use credit cards (don't exchange it all at once). In retrospect, my friend and I would have taken more with us than we did. Happy travels!

Simply AMAZING experience!! This was my first trip to Buenos Aires and I am beyond happy I found Mani. I challenged her to find special, unique items and she over delivered. I am a man and I HATE shopping!! The first thing that struck me about BA is that it is HUGE!! If you think you will come and “stumble” upon the item you are searching for, good luck. This city is massive! Mani either already knows where it is or she will find it if it exists in BA. I can’t say enough positive things about Mani, and she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She arranges transportation, interprets, researches and makes contacts even before you arrive. Mani is passionate about her work and it shows. If you are coming to BA to find that special something do yourself a favor and book with Mani, you will not regret it.

Mani (our guide) was very knowledgeable and helpful. We provided her with a list of the items of interest to our group prior to our arrival in Buenos Aires and she took us to some wonderful stores we would likely have never discovered on our own. Importantly, she was also very helpful coaching us through the complexity of determining what to pay for the items we purchased given the prevailing exchange rate for the Argentinian peso!

This was my third (!!) time shopping in Buenos Aires with Shop Hop and I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. I gave Mani some thoughts about what I was looking for (clothing, bags, shoes, jewelry!) and she created an lovely itinerary for us to follow. We visited new designers as well as some designers that we saw on earlier trips. I was able to get quite a few things and met a lot of new artisans that I will visit again in the future. I am already putting together a list of things I want Mani to send me from BA! (Another wonderful service that Shop Hop provides!!!)
I highly recommend reaching out to Mani while planning your trip to Buenos Aires. She is a total gem and so knowledgeable about all things retail and art in Buenos Aires.

Mani is a superb shopping guide. We were very nervous since we don’t speak Spanish and BA is full of hidden gems and known for great hand crafted products. My wife and I had two half-day trips with Mani and we were overwhelmed with satisfaction. Mani genuinely cares and makes it all come alive. We look forward to returning to BA soon and enjoying all the great shopping with Mani as a guide.

A great experience with Mani! First off--I hate shopping, but three in our group love to shop and I tagged along. Mani researched the items we wanted to see: Women's fashion to gaucho knives. Her curated list of shop owners were expecting us when we arrived. As Mani learned our sense of style she adapted quickly. We found unique "slow craft" items along the way and had a productive (and fun) day. Mani is very personable and fun to be with. She has the perfect balance of knowing when to step back and knowing when to offer advice. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with her over a late light lunch. At the end of our time we all felt like we'd made a new friend. Buenos Aires is vast and it would be impossible to find the artisans and small shops without the help from a local. HIGHLY recommend.

We spent a full day with Mani and it was fabulous. She took us to shops we NEVER would have found on our own and both my husband and I found some great new clothes. Mani is a delight, with perfect English and a great ability to discern her clients' interests.

Now that Shop Hop BA are open to tours for locals, it's a great opportunity to get that behind-the-scenes insight of what is going on in the fashion and art world here in Buenos Aires. We loved this personalized tour in a covid-secure environment. It was a wonderful experience and one that I highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great day with Mani and her driver Cesar. She is very sweet with great style and figured out our “type” pretty quickly so no time was wasted seeing things we did not like. She sent us a questionnaire in advance to learn about our style and what we were interested in. The day was well-organized and while we covered a lot of ground we never felt pressured. She took us to see artisans who really represented authentic Buenos Aires and it was enjoyable meeting them and admiring their work. It was a great way to see some neighborhoods and meet the people of this beautiful city. Thanks Mani!

We had a wonderful day with our personal shopper Mani. She took us to the following places: a leather jacket shop, a boutique handmade handbag place, a unique jeweler, a natural clothing store, and an Argentinian gift shop. Her selections of these places were based on our email exchanges before our trip, so she knew what we were interested in.
The places she took us to were hidden unique designer shops that carry beautiful and elegant items. We would never be able to find these places if we did not go with Mani.
In summary, we really had a great experience with Mani. She was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Highly Recommended!!!

I had a leather skirt made for me, had my measurements taken on a Monday and the skirt was ready by Wednesday, not too sure how long a jacket would take though. The prices were really affordable ($160US) but this also depends on what you are after. Hope this helps!!
