Linda vista, venimos a almorzar con reserva previa, si no la cumples además te castigan cargando tu TC , almuerzo de 3 tiempos . Ensalada con gusanos, se la llevaron , segundo plato .., ojo de bife durísimo, una roca…, a esta altura no quería tercer tiempo.
Muchísima diferencia si estás o no alojado en el hotel . Lamento muy mala experiencia.

So… This is a tough one to write because I really wanted to like this hotel. There is so much potential, but it just does not live up to it’s scenary.
The location is stunnig, with the vines and the snowed mountains right behind them. But I would say that was the highest point of my stay.
The rooms are quite pretty, but tired. They are in desperate need for an upgrade. Shower with almost zero water pressure and the temperatue wast either super hot or cold. The shower does not close all the way, and when you want this open shower concept in a place that can get very cold, you need to have the bathroom properly heated, and this was not the case. Showers were a nightmare.
My villa had a lovely outdoor area, with a plunge pool that was empty and filthy and a fire pit that did not work. To me, this is crazy. If you can’t maintain these features, just take them out. All my friends were also told that theirs did not work.
Housekeeping was also touch and go. One day, they came and cleaned just the living room.
The food was fine, but not memorable.
Staff was clearly not trained, very young and we did not see a senior maneger.
Also, they should offer more activities. They have so much space and such beautifull scenary but not much more to do other than wine tasting. They suggested a trip to the small village in the base of the mountais but there is almost nothing there. Not worth the trip or the price of the transfer.
They had a gorgeous pool that was not heated and no sauna at the spa.
I am so sorry, but this hotel just does not deserve to be in the Leading Hotels of The World portfolio. And it is not woth the price or the super long drive from Mendoza airport.

O lugar é muito bonito, próximo a cordilheira dos Andes. Estivemos no restaurante Siete Fuegos para almoçar. A comida estava maravilhosa e o ambiente proporciona uma atmosfera aconchegante. Vale a pena ir almoçar lá.

Al pie de la cordillera. Lugar de sueños. Comida y atención muy buena. Puede recorrerse los viñedos y otras bodegas de la región. Siempre volvemos a ese lugar

We stayed in The Vines in March 2023. The weather was amazing the location was really beautiful but a long drive from the airport. The rooms and the main hotel were beautiful with incredible views. The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful. However the bar and restaurant staff were completely under trained some with no English they couldn’t even understand when we ordered a beer. We also had to wait 20 minutes at one point as the barman was on a break. The food was lovely however the menu was very limited it didn’t change between lunch and dinner or from day to day with no specials so if you are staying a few days it becomes boring.

The staff are all too young and no experience whatsoever. They have no clue about service. If you’re paying top dollar you expect the best and this is far from it. There was a dead frog in the jacuzzi which was told to 3 separate members of staff. Their response took 45 minutes. The pool is filthy and the Villa we are in is very run down. The food is generally good but dinner last night was inedible. Best to just avoid this hotel as they simply haven't got it right

Had dinner there. Steak arrived cool (and tough) but then not surprising since the plate was ice cold. waitress came by, asked if all was OK, told her steak was cold, took it away and brought it back on a burning plate (chef does not take criticism well but same steak. Ate half and gave up. with so many excellent restaurants around they have lost the touch. Shame.

Nuestro grupo de amigos y nosotros recientemente nos hospedamos en The Vines, como parte de nuestro tour vitivinícola de la zona.
La zona (locación), el concepto y las instalaciones son espectaculares. Es bellísimo y la naturaleza aledaña es verdaderamente impresionante.
Desafortunadamente, el staff del hotel al parecer "duerme sobre sus laureles" porque el servicio es bastante regular, la actitud de varios empleados(as) es distante y a veces incluso poco amable y la atención a los detalles deja mucho que desear.
Como ejemplo, al entrar en nuestra habitación, esta estaba totalmente infestada de moscas y mosquitos. Obviamente entiendo que es un entorno natural, pero yo esperaría una aplicación de insecticida antes de asignar las habitaciones al cliente. Por otro lado (y esto fue lo peor), la sábana en nuestra cama estaba MANCHADA. Al parecer una huella de un zapato.
Esto es absolutamente INACEPTABLE y habla de un pésimo control de calidad y supervisión del personal de intendencia. Por supuesto que inmediatamente cambiaron la sábana, pero esto NO debería de haber sucedido.
Por otro lado, la atención en restaurante y bar fue muy mediocre. Los empleados estaban obviamente más interesados en el futbol que en atender a los clientes por lo que tuvimos que pedir las cosas varias veces, no llegaban a tiempo y en general notamos una actitud de desgano.
Como salíamos muy temprano, pedimos si había posibilidad de adelantar nuestro desayuno para las 7:15 AM (no me parece una hora poco razonable..) pero no lo pudieron cumplir a cabalidad..las mesas no estaban listas, no había cocina caliente y el servicio MUY tardado.
El concepto de The Vines es estupendo, pero NECESITAN poner más atención a la selección y al entrenamiento del personal. Simplemente no están a la altura.

Foi uma experiência bem decepcionante. O ar condicionado não estava funcionando, ligamos diversas vezes sem sucesso na resolução, demoraram 1 dia para irem até o quarto resolver. Se ligarmos os 2 chuveiros ao mesmo tempo não dava para regular a temperatura, a água ficava extremamente quente a ponto de não dar para tomar banho. O ofurô estava extremamente sujo quando chegamos, tivemos que chamar o pessoal para limpar (podiam ter feito isso antes do nosso checkin!, entregar o quarto limpo é algo básico), no outro dia cortaram a grama da frente do nosso quarto, sujou toda nossa varanda (onde fica o ofurô) e deixaram sujo. No café da manhã, chegamos cerca de 2h antes de terminar o horário, estava com vários itens em falta, sem reposição. O restaurante do hotel necessitava de reserva, sendo que o hospede não tem prioridade, no primeiro dia tivemos que pedir room service pois não informam isso com antecedência e o hotel é extremamente afastado, você não pode simplesmente ir em outro restaurante na esquina. Enfim, o custo benefício não valeu nenhum pouco, uma pena, uma decepção. O hotel peca em infraestrutura, é tudo lindíssimo, mas não funciona direito. E peca também em hospitalidade, característica essencial em um hotel. Eu não recomendo e não voltaria. O hotel teria que custar menos de 50% do valor que cobram para dizer que vale a pena.

You can't find a prettier view to the Andes or a more beautiful pool area. Beds and sheets are divine. Suites are huge (2000SF) and feel like an apartment more than a hotel room. But for the money they charge there has to be better service. No ones seems to know what's going on, the front desk is a bit clueless, You're in the middle of wine country and you can get exactly 3 wines by the glass: a red, a white and a rose. The poor bartender is also the F&B manager so he's running back and forth between the kitchen and bar, leaving it unstaffed. A wine tasting we had included in our program was rescheduled 3 times, and when the time finally came no one knew anything about it. Food at their famous restaurant, which is also the same place you eat breakfast, is fair, nothing fancy. Breakfast is fair, nothing fancy. For a place known for Siete Fuegos it really seems to be lacking. Paper menus stapled in the corner? Not exactly elegant. A QR code to figure out the bar menu? Nah, not for these prices.

Answering my own question as we are here now. Yes, they do have about six mountain bikes you can take at your leisure with maps of the property to guide your ride.
