The venue originally called Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre operated for a dozen years or so, providing top notch musical theatre productions on their main stage along with mystery and comedy shows and an assortment of tribute concerts in the smaller Marquee room . For the past year they had been known simply as The Palms but sadly and very suddenly closed their doors this summer. High operating costs and too much competition in the Phoenix area has caused several such closures. by various groups in recent years. The Broadway Palm owners do still have two very successful theatres (Dutch Apple in Lancaster PA and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Ft. Myeres, FL

Excellent singing, acting, and well done! Time went by quickly.
Also very much enjoyed the dinner. Food was way better than I expected it would be.

Saw Menopause the Musical last night! Fabulous Show and performance. the actors were very professional . 90 minutes flew by . four ladies were perfect for the parts. Spot on. music was wonderful.
Buffet was mediocre at best. Service was friendly and fast.

Saw Menopause the Musical last night. It was awesome. Amazing, amazing talent; extremely funny and great music from the 60's era. I would go again and again.
The theatre itself is a nice find. Wasn't so sure when I discovered it was in a strip mall, but was very pleasantly surprised with the venue.
The only disappointment was the quality of the food. Typical buffet...mushy stir fry veggies, tough meats, etc.
All in all, this play with this cast is top notch entertainment. These gals should get new agents and move to New York City. They are THAT good!

Tribute show group to the Jersey Boys one night at the Broadway Palms on 3/17/15. Excellent 1 hour & 45 minutes non-stop performance of all the great hits and then some, of Frankie Valli and The Jersey Boys. All 4 singers and the band were great. Also, this theater has improved dramatically in its foodservice. New ownership has made noticeable improvement.

We are from Canada, and have attended several productions. We have had the excellent buffet dinner and also just gone to the theatre production. We have thoroughly enjoyed each one. The acting, singing and dancing are very good.

We were welcomed at the door and escorted to our table by Jenny our host.
The food was very tastey. There was a good selection to choose from. Something for everyone from pot roast, to ribs, to tilapia, to blackened chicken and pepper jack mac and cheese. It was a full buffet.
Then we moseyed on down to the small theatre setting and listened and watched a fabulous cowboy show.
Michael has a rich mellow voice that takes you back to the black and white westerns we watched on Saturdays on the TV and at the show. Each of the performers had their own distinct style and voice.
This is well worth an evenings entertainment.

Then we moseyed on down to the small theatre setting and listened and watched a fabulous cowboy show.

This is well worth an evenings entertainment.

Had a chance to see the show with our neighbors here in AZ and had not been to the Palms (we are from MN) The dinner buffet started at 5:30 and the show at 7:30...the buffet was good and the show was good..

This is an good, yet affordable dinner theater experience. Their shows are entertaining and they often have children's theater during the day as well. We always leave the Palms feeling like it was one of the highlights of our trip to Phoenix.

Annie Get Your Gun on the Mainstage was done well, with good quality singing and acting for a community theater. It is not professional theater, so I was very pleasantly surprised. The buffet had a lot of good choices for the main entrees, as well as many choices for dessert. Speaking with one of the regular subscribers, apparently the quality of the buffet does vary somewhat night to night, but this night it was very good. I guess that is why there is such a discrepancy between the food reviews. The service at the table (drinks, bussing) was very attentive. We also saw Nana's Naughty Knickers 2 nights later, in their smaller theater room, but the quality of that performance was much more amateurish.

Broadway Palm closed in 2015. The same location operates now as SILVER STAR with a group of musicians called The Rhythm Cats (formely of Barleen's).
I have not seen the new show(s) but their website should have the schedule. They offer several options such as 50's & 60's, or Country, or a Variety Show. Ratings of the entertainment are mostly very favorable. A meal is included in the price.

George has passed. I was at silver star tonight. Very sad. But they played on without him. Still a good show
