Facundo accompanied us for a few days in Jujuy. The reception was very warm, he speaks excellent German and he has a feel for his guests. The unfortunately too short trip with him was fantastic. Facundo is looking for something special "off the beaten track" and shows Argentina in a very personal way. From lunch with wine tasting in a small, exquisite winery, to beautiful rides with background explanations of culture and history as well as flora and fauna. His wealth of knowledge is incredible. We were overwhelmed by the impressions and his company. Our next trip to Argentina is guaranteed to be with him again. Then hopefully with more time for even more great adventures!

We had a wonderful trip with AndesChallenge : Raul and Facundo are very professional and they have much knowledge about the scenery and the wineries. On top of that they are warm persons, they deserve much more than 5 stars !!! Benny and Lief from Belgium

Facundo and his wife Amalia were our guides on this trip and created an amazing 3 day tour for us. Both are knowledgeable about the history of this region and have a real love of its natural beauty. It is hard to choose which was the most interesting of the places we visited: the color striped mountains of the quebrada de Humahuaca and the Hornocal, the charming town of Purmamarca; the ruins at Pujará de Tilcara or the salt flats of Salinas grandes. We learned about the Incas, the indigenous Aymara culture, gaucho life and the heroes of the Argentine battle for independence from Spain. Facundo appreciates food and wine so along the way he recommended restaurants with excellent regional food. We made a stop at the architecturally stunning Yacoraite winery. where we had extraordinary cuisine and excellent wine amid the brave experiment of growing wine in the high desert mountains, We enthusiastically recommend Andes Challenge for your tour of this area.

We traveled with our daughters, aged 24 and 21, to Salta and Jujuy in March 2024. In the previous search for places to visit and how to visit them, we came across Andes Challenge, which offered us a tailored service based on our availability and interests. During the organization and prior contact, the company made suggestions that optimized time. They were very flexible regarding our proposals and with an agile response. We decided to hire a guide with a vehicle to take us through the different selected places, since several of them were difficult to access. When the day arrived, we had the pleasure of meeting Facundo, our assigned guide, who picked us up with a lot of energy and desire to undertake the trip with us. Facundo turned out to be a guide with extensive knowledge of the history and culture of the places. The coexistence was also very enjoyable since he was very kind, respectful and decisive, for example in the face of road closures due to heavy rain. The experience turned out to be very enjoyable and relaxed thanks to the logistics provided by the company. Without a doubt we would choose them again for a next visit to northern Argentina and we totally recommend them. They made a difference in our trip.

This place is really special, the colours in the mountains, and gorges are amazing. Special thanks to Amanda, who helped organise this on the phone! and to Raul, our guide - who was a son of the soil, and made things so interesting with his warmth, cheer, sensitivity and genuine love of this part of the country.

We booked a day trip to Cachi with Andes Challenge. Everything went perfectly.
We had a lot of fun and a wonderful day with Amalia. Thank you very much for that!
We can highly recommend Andes Challenge and if we travel to the area again, we would book the next trip with you straight away!

Our guide, Facundo, has a very deep knowledge about nature, history and local culture; fantastic insights on how to enjoy everything at best; a great passion for sharing this immense beauty. He continuously took care of us with a warm, fun, always gentle presence, also offering options for solo exploration and reflection when it was the right time to do so. An extremely comfortable 4x4 car with a perfect driving style on these mountain roads contributed making going up and down on the Andes effortless, so that we could simply enjoy the spectacular landscapes. I was extremely lucky to experience Salta and Jujuy regions with you and I recommend Andes Challenge to who ever wants to visit this part of Argentina!

We booked a 2 day tour with Andes Challenge; online first in their website, and we completed the booking with Amanda's help (owner). It was a really easy process and Amanda was extremely helpful with us to make sure we had all our questions answered before confirming our booking.
As planned, the day before our tour we were contacted by our guide Facundo (owner. Amanda's husband) who the following morning picked us up from our hotel with Manuel (assistant guide). Their vehicle was a new 4x4 SUV with leather seats, aircon and great comfort. While we were driving Facundo shared great insights with us about Salta, the area, including history, flora, fauna, etc. Facundo is such an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide, we learned lots from him.
We proceeded to drive 3 hours to the start of our 1st downhill MTB ride: the Abre del Acay (Acay mountain pass) at 4,900m above the sea level ... OMG !! Bikes, helmets and gloves provided were in top condition, we quickly started the descent together with Manuel in the bike and followed by Facundo in his 4x4. It was an unsealed road, but totally safe. The most accelerating experience I've ever had in my life. The landscape is incredible, and some areas even look like the Grand Canyon.
After 3 hours of mostly the most exciting and challenging downhill ride, Facundo and Manuel served us a delicious picnic lunch to relax and refill our tanks. After that we proceeded to finish the ride and then they drove us to the historic and pintoresc town of Cachi to relax and spend the night. We loved the ride and loved Cachi !!!!
Next morning Facundo and Manuel picked us up in the morning and proceeded to the Cuesta del Obispo, and started our 2nd MTB downhill ride from almost 3,500m above sea level. Totally different terrain, and a sealed road for most of the way with an unsealed patch in the middle. Great ride for high speads, with lots of turns, and amazing views too. Once again the downhill finished with a delicious picnic lunch with local delicacies (eg. freshly baked bread, the most tasty goats cheese I've ever had, etc) served by Facundo and Manuel. After the relaxing lunch, recovered and with full tummies, they drove back to our hotel in salta.
We cannot compliment Andes Challenges enough for their tour. We had probably the most incredible experiences during these 2 days that will live in our memories forever.

We spent six days with facu, our pet also traveled.
We marveled at everything we saw and even more so at the explanations of each place in the hands of the guide. Each day, although it was already marked where we were going, it was personalized according to our times and tastes.
He highlighted the flexibility, kindness, patience, tranquility and excellence of Amalia and Facundo.
Anyone who wants to take a trip where they find more than they think they will find is here.

We had the opportunity to spend four days with Andes Challenge team, discovering the beauty of Salta and Jujuy region. The organization was just perfect. Amalia and Facundo have been amazing guides, giving us support and lots of information about the territory. Highly recommended!

Hola. Estoy viajando este viernes a Salta. Llego a las 11 AM. Tengo unas reuniones que me liberare tipo 15 hs. Y tomo vuelo de vuelta a las 23.
