Historic area with fun bars and shops

Great old western street with bars, restaurants and shops. Several historical markers worth reading along the route. Bar hoping is really easy and some have live music. Parking is something that is hard to find so you might be walking a little.

Whole street!

So much fun. Great little shops. And bars. Loads to see. So much history. Go for the day and drift around town.

Fun historical walking tour!

2022年11月

Enjoyed the different boutiques; specifically the one with hats (bought 3) and the one with fabulous clothing and then a loft type area where there are many boutiques; we got the funniest kitchen towels!

The Mr enjoyed the different historical bars, beers, and BBQ served at a few of them.

Across, at the Courthouse, they are putting up Christmas lights; we will definitely be back for that!!

We had our lil chihuahua with us and were able to find many accommodating restaurants with out any issue.

Take the time to read the historical info and you'll enjoy it that much more!

A lot of hype

Expected much more given the build up. Not as many stores, bars, restaurants, etc. as I expected. A lot of art galleries. Cool to walk through but some of the prices! Court house grass area had several festivals/events when we were there which was a nice touch. More of a few hour trip than anything else.

Mini visit

A pretty cool place. We did sufficient amount of walking. Pretty fun. Lots of stores and old restaurants. First time here just for something to do.

Something for everyone

Good for walking around, looking at the variety of shops! Also great historical value here! Lots of people and dogs milling around. Frisbee, picnics, and sunbathing in the grassy area.

Small downtown experience with a little something for everyone

An eclectic bunch of shops with fine arts, antiques, western cowboy gear and kitsch and some native American Indian inspired merchandise. Outstandingly friendly place with so many options for food and drink. We chatted with a few locals just walking their dogs around town, who gave us recommendations on best places to eat. There were so many options it was hard to pick! Several bars had live music, which was fun to just walk by and hear all the activity. PLUS, free parking which is always a bonus!
