Granite Falls has two 18 hole courses (North and South). Both located in the beautiful community of Sun City Grand. These courses are 'private country club quality'. You will be challenged and enjoy the layouts. There is a snack shop and also Coco's and Angela's restaurants within the community. Recommend Angela's for good burgers and a beautiful patio overlooking Desert Springs 9th hole. Just a very short drive from Granite Falls pro shop (no more than a mile). Do it.

Cool Billy Casper design allows use of every club in bag. Not too easy and not too hard. Course was in good shape and the pace of play reasonable. Have already been back.

wow is al I can say, what a course. kept in great shape with the fairways and greens running true. I am jealous of those that play this and the 3 other courses on a regular basis. !!

In good shape. # 11 on North is the water challenge. Love the 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. back 9 play special . Also have the twilight and super twilight specials. All 4 courses in Sun City Grand rotate around that time slot for the back 9 play. Open to the public. Nicest courses in Surprise. Nice views of the White Tanks, wide open fairways, goes thru the beautiful community. 5 tee boxes. Like the orange executive tees, that helps some of us shorter hitters. Nice new golf shop. Snack shop is small, outdoor seating, restaurant also next door.

This seems to get the business model for Sun City Grand golf.
The courses are great, but booked three groups on each hole so it's hit and wait. The food is horrible. The beer is cheap.
Evidently the residents won't buy a sandwich and just want the beer. But the place lives or does on serving the Snowbirds.

Play there several times a month. Both the South & North courses are very nice. The check-in staff are very friendly. Their pro shop is under update/construction but that does not seem to hold anyone back from doing their job.

Have played each of the four courses in the community. The Granite Falls South course has a good set of challenges, water,sand and long hitter holes, wide fairways. Having golfed the day after a big wind storm and some rain, there were trees down and mud in areas, but still very playable and they are working on the clean up quickly. The greens were fast and tricky. Brought a family out of towner who is a long hitter and he had to really hit it and he was highly impressed not just with playing Granite South but also checking out all the other courses in SCG. You may think this is a community golf course, this is a desert course built inside the great community of Sun City Grand. All 4 are great. South is my favorite. Some of the bushes do suck up the balls. Great prices always for summer golf. Nice views of the White Tanks. Always open to the public.

Granite Falls has everything you fantasize about a golf course. It is dramatic and playable at the same time. Generous fairways accommodate the golfer who may "spray it around" off the tee. Lakes, waterfalls, semi island greens, picturesque bunkering and elevated tee boxes are all present and give the appearance of a difficult layout. However, many of these beautiful "challenges" are readily avoided which makes them easy to enjoy without slowing the round. Both South and North courses are interesting and unique. I've played here many times but in summertime the cost to play twilight with a cart is criminally low for such a wonderful experience. Refrigerated drinking fountains are plentiful as are proper restrooms.

Courses (north and south) are generally in good condition in the "winter" time. Can be expensive and difficult to obtain tee times until April or later.
