Girls Night

We were spending the week in Phoenix and were looking for a place to spend the evening hiding out sunburnt bodies from the sun. We found painting with a twist and it was a perfect night. We weren’t the best painters but it was a blast. I find painting classes to be a bit spendy but it was a fun time. It’s a BYOW party though so just a heads up if you want to drink. I love the atmosphere when you put a large group of girls in a room, who are drinking and all average painters.. so much love and positivity!

Not Van Gogh

My wife & I went to Painting with a Twist with a brother and sister in law.
We all had no training What So Ever with painting but we had a BLAST!!
Our instructor was Jeff Chudy and he was great and a lot of fun. Our class was just 6 of us and it was great. We all highly recommend this for couples or friends .
And the paintings we created are worthy of hanging in the house!!!

Fun couples' date activity!

My husband & I really enjoyed our 1st experience painting in a group class BYOB setting! We made our reservation for the class (based on the picture we were most interested in per their online calendar) about 1 month in advance. Classes do seem to fill up, so if you have a particular painting you would prefer doing, we'd recommend making your reservation to hold your spot in the class. Another recommendation: Just in case of an accident, don't wear your favorite clothes. The price was $35/person for a 2 hour class. We brought our own bottle of cabernet & really enjoyed the afternoon. PWAT provided cups, wine openers, aprons, & all painting supplies. Our instructor TJay (Timothy) was a friendly guy who seemed reasonably well experienced & helpful in leading a class of amateur painters. We painted the Turtle Heading Home (turtle on a beach) painting, & we were reasonably satisfied with the results. As amateurs, we could have spent a little more time trying to "perfect" our painting, as we felt just a bit rushed towards the end. Overall, though, we were well satisfied with our decision to take this class & plan to return. Group pictures are taken at the end of the class which are posted on their Facebook site.
