It's an old print shop with some old print stuff. Not a bad little museum. If your already in town anyway. Take a walk around the corner and see it.

Stopped in to look around and get my free copy of the paper (comes with O.K. Corral gunfight tickets). Didn't have enough time to read about everything but it was a nice look into the past.

Started in 1880 by John Clum the Tombstone Epitaph is Arizona’s oldest continually published newspaper along with being the oldest continually operated business in Tombstone.
Inside this free museum you can watch a short video on printing in the 1880’s and see various printing presses including the flat bed press the 1st issue of the Epitaph was printed on. The signage explaining what you are looking at is very well done.
There is also a small area in the front to purchase souvenirs and other items.

It is great to see how we first received the news and there is wish to still see the newspaper in action. A lot of historical equipment to view. A quiet break from the gunfighting!

Small shop with exhibits of old printing machines. It’s a bit more niche in terms of history, but it was still interesting to see. Plus, the exhibit was free! They still print newspapers for tombstone, including one about the gunfight at the OK corral that you can get for free if you do the OK corral tickets.

Tombstone's print shop is still in business. They have a free museum exhibit featuring old printing presses and display of newspapers and notable historical information from Tombstone. They also have a section of books for sale related to Tombstone's history as well as other notable Arizona attractions. They also sell reprinted newspapers on Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and other notable figures from Tombstone's history. For Wild West afficionados, you can buy a subscription to their printed newspapers that will be mailed out to you.

Great visit for a former journalism major, or any fan of printed media. As a freebie component of the OK Corral, what's not to like? Also, a nice, quiet place to buy postcards.

Well worth the walk through. All the printing machines were amazing to see! No wonder the had only one printed per week!

Interesting history of the founder of the Epitaph and the processes they used to get a paper to print. Interesting to learn that they had to be able to read upside down and backwards!. Nice museum for free.

Bisbee AZ, about 25 miles southeast of Tombstone or Benson about 30 miles North of Tombstone would be the closest. The next closest I believe would be at Whetstone, close to Ft. Huachuca. Then of course is the Airport at Tucson. From any one of them you would have to have a car to drive to Tombstone.
