This tour company is the best. Our hotel recommended Aldo to do a day trip around the lake. It was the best tour of our entire trip. Aldo is friendly and knowledgable. He also took the time to take care of us. For example, he bought us some unique fruit from the market but made sure it wasnt cut there. He took it to a place he knew was clean to cut up the fruit for us. I wish we had known about this company sooner. We would have booked multiple tours with them!!

Went on the all day 3 Villages Tour guided by Aldo and his brother John. What a fantastic day it was!! Aldo and John picked us by boat on the dock of our VRBO and showed us Santiago, San Juan and San Pedro. I cannot imagine that there is a better way to get to know the Lake Atitlan area than taking this tour. Aldo's knowledge of the villages, the lake and Mayan culture is outstanding. Aldo is the type of tour guide that makes you feel like you are family and you end the day with a new fiend you will always remember. I highly recommend the tour, it is a day you will not soon forget.

We found Domingo through our hotel and what a gift that was! Not only did we feel safe under his care hiking up Indian Nose, but Domingo was a wealth of information on the Mayan culture and it was so beautiful to see the great pride he takes in his village and people. We thoroughly enjoyed our local “famous” guide Mingo and would highly recommend this tour and company!

Had an amazing experience with Tornado's. We did the Santa Catarina, San Antonio Palopó, Santiago boat tour and it was our favorite day in Guatemala. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Alex - he's the best!
Alex's dog Dulce decided to join us on the walk to the boat and because we're such dog lovers, we let her join us for the rest of the trip - a lovely addition to our crew for the day! We brought a bottle of Prosecco and stopped in the middle of the lake for mimosas with amazing views. Alex was full of interesting facts about the lake and the traditions and history of the different villages. We stopped into coffee shops and artisan shops as we meandered through each stop, and had a nice dinner before heading back. As we cruised along the lake between villages, we slowed down to admire the many types of hillside properties.. At one point we saved some stranded jet-skiers and got some reward beers - a nice well rounded adventure.
For anyone visiting Lake Atitlan who wants a mix of a cultural experience with breezy boat views, I couldn't recommend this tough enough!

Top notch! Alex and Diego were awesome. Alex did a great job explaining the areas we visited and the history of the area. I highly recommend them!

Domingo and Alex were recommended by our hotel in Panajachel. We went for the tour to Indian nose viewpoint. Alex was a great guide, friendly, very informative about local culture, life, history, politics, geography, nature.. Very flexible in overcoming some issues with transport (closed road). In the end we tried 4 different means of transport and really enjoyed this experience!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful 3Pueblos Tour with Aldo in May! We lucked out with a private tour and started the day by being picked up from our dock at Casa Del Mundo by Aldo and his driver. Aldo then took us to three Mayan towns on the lake - Santiago, San Juan and San Pedro. Aldo was incredibly informative and upbeat during our tour and we really felt as though we could see a local view of the Lake for an afternoon. We learned about local food and coffee, religion, politics, history and entertainment. He truly could answer all of our questions! Aldo was born and raised on the Lake so don’t be surprised if he takes you to awesome local spots or is recognized as a local “celebrity” :) Definitely don’t miss this tour with him - it was absolutely the highlight of our trip. We hope to be back and bring friends and family for round two!

My husband and I enjoyed two days of private tours with Aldo as our tour guide. Excellent communication in advance of the tour assured us that our plans would be on point! Aldo arranged private, clean and efficient boats, walking tours of the fascinating cities around the lake, took us to cultural sites, arranged for demonstrations of Mayan Customs, and even took us on a short hike for a beautiful view of the Lake.

Had a great experience with John and his team at Lake Atitlan. He organised our volcano hike up San Pedro with a lovely friendly guide which was a very cultural and authentic experience. He also coordinated our sunset tour up the Indian Nose which was all well organised and on time to the dot (would highly recommend this tour).
He was super attentive and even helped us with translating with some of the locals which we struggled with. Very helpful and would recommend!

John informed us extensively and well about possible tours and transfers. The accessibility via WhatsApp was great and within a very short time we got answers to all our questions. When we had a medical emergency and had to reschedule our route, John was immediately available and supported us. The fact that the tours have local guides and thus money flows into the community is a big plus.
