This Sunday in August we wanted to buy 2 cups displayed in the window; unfortunately the employee was unable to find the corresponding packaging, unable also to find a trace in the computer system! Eight days later, we came back and had to deal with an equally incapable head of department! Besides, the cups had been removed from the window! So he tried to make us swallow snakes, showing us many cups that were not the right ones.

When we open the door for the first time, it's hard to imagine that we've just entered the Palais de la Gourmandise.
A staging worthy of the best museums.
Stunning scenery.
" IT'S NOT VERSAILLES HERE!"
But the Maison du Biscuit was invited for two days to the Élysée.
No wonder we find the best products here.
Boldness, imagination, transmission of family traditions;

This place is weird.
It look like a movie set-up.
Nothing seems to be original.
In old times it was a cookie bakery / factory.
Now it is a theme park 😃 with a deli....or the other way around.
Anyway you can buy all sorts of food and specialities.
Very nice and worth a visit.
A must see if in the area.
We wouldn't go again.

We hired a taxi from Cherbourg. Corresponded by email - went smoothly. Met us at the cruise ship/port and took us to Port Bail (a wonderful outdoor market) then to La Maison Biscuit and also to T. Cappelle ciderie. A delightful day. Here's the taxi service
