Prachtige wandeling langs kliffen en velden met mooi zicht op het dorpje.
Zeer makkelijk,wel enkele poortjes. Cirkelvormig,4 km,goede bewegwijzering.

We really enjoyed the cliff walk- there is amazing views, wild flowers and birds to see.
Be sure to take water or a drink with you, once you start there is no place to buy drinks until you loop back into town.
We visited on a Monday in July and arrived before noon hoping to park at the beach parking lot. It was very busy, we found parking for one car and the other car we had to park further along the road.
The walk is not arduous and the views are worth it. We would recommend it.

This hike was in my top three favorite things I did on my entire trip to Ireland! And my kids even agreed! The views are just unbelievable and you pass crazy lovely ruins along the way. You can see a shipwreck along the water, a castle-like tower in the fields and we even saw a pod of dolphins swimming out there! It was just truly a magical hike. We did turn it into a loop so we walked back through town to get back to the car park near the beach, that part wasn't as lovely, but the cliff part was so amazing that it totally gets five stars!

Gorgeous views and fresh sea air! Unfortunately we could only go so far as it’s not buggy friendly but we went as far as we could and enjoyed the scenery!

Fab walk - amazing views - we saw a seal! You can start by the cliff house hotel and. Finish by the round tower, walking back to grab an ice cream at the shop by the beach!

The cliff Walk in Ardmore is simply stunning. In my opinion it should to to the top of anyone's itinerary if you are anywhere near the region.
It's a loop so you can start in any direction. Easiest to find is to walk/drive up to the cliff botel and start there at St Delans Well and Oratory which is lovely in itself. There is nothing then between you and the blue sea way below you as you walk! Magnificent views of Ardnore, the bay and headland.
As you curve around you'll see the coastline stetch off towards An Rinn and Dungarvan in one direction and towards Ballycotton in the other. There a wreck at one point of a nmassive chance, not home to thousands I'd squawking birds.
At the end of the headland there are Wirld War 2 lookout towers abd a ruined arch which offers picturesque views of the Bay below.
The path curves back towards Ardmore then abd brings you to the absolutely stunning Round Tower and church just up the hill from the village.
The path is gravelled and relatively flat all the way round - the small ascents and descents are very gradual. It is not taxing at all and will be dozble for anyone with even a moderate level of fitness. It's probably about 4km in length, it's hard to know as you'll stop do often to admire the views!
Such a fresh, serene and beautiful thing to do, one of the very highlights of my holiday in Waterford.

This is such an enjoyable and safe walk.
The views are spectacular along the way.
Its not too trying at all but if you're not overly fit, there are plenty of areas to stop and just enjoy the view.
Crowded at peak times so beware.

This was a really enjoyable walk. A local shop owner recommended that we go the opposite way most people do! He was right. Better views and you get the worst climb out of the way at the start 😁. Flow the signs for the church up the back of the village rather than going from the beach up. There were plenty of families with prams walking, so I think it's pretty accessible.

This is a great looped cliff walk with plenty of history of St Declan. The walk is 4km and is easy to complete.
I parked at the beach down from the cliff house hotel and began there. Highlights include St Declan’s Well and Stone, the round tower at the end, the watchtowers and off course the cliff views.
I visited on a Sunday and went early to avoid the large crowds. The beach here is also lovely and has a farmers market on s Sunday.

Ardmore cliff walk is really lovely - even in the rain. As other reviewers mentioned, it’s probably best to leave the car at the beach and walk up past the Cliff house hotel. As you walk, you will pass the shipwreck known as the Sampson on your left and a castle on your right. You will also pass Fr O’Donnells well. There are stunning views out over Ardmore head and Ram head.
When we got the to the end of the path, we ended up on a road with no footpath. We could have gone back on the cliff walk the way we had come, but we decided to keep going and went left and then the next right which brought us back on a road into Ardmore. The road was quiet but if you want to stay off road, it’s best to turn back when you get to the end of the path and head back the way you came. Enjoy!

Is it suitable to bring a buggy?

What is a buggy? If it’s a stroller, I wouldn’t. Just enough room to walk on sometimes rocky paths.
