jumped on the little green train, it was like a personal taxi tour, the man stopped at each attraction and allowed us 10 mins or so to walk around and take pictures, or we could use it as a hop on / hop off if we wanted. Would definitely recommend

Una maravilla de casi una hora de recorrido haciendo paradas en sitios importantes para verlos. El conductor amabilísimo y siempre pendiente de darte toda la información que necesites. Si paras en Antequera no te vayas sin probarlo. Y es barato.

Just 8 euros each for 24 hours validity. Hop on and off as you want. The staff were so friendly and wanted to show us their beautiful town. Best way to get up to the fort and to see all the beautiful churches. Approx 75 mins between trains so time to get off, visit and hop back on. Highly recommended.

The Electric Micro Tourist Bus has to be the best way to see Antequera. The whole circuit takes 70 minutes, with several stops on the way round to enable you to get off, take photo's, and look at various sites. Commentary in English. Because of the size of the bus, it is like having your own private taxi!. Cost is €8.00 per head, but as we are pensioners, the fare is only €6.00 each - a bargain. Highly recommended.

El recorrido es muy interesante para ubicar los principales monumentos de la ciudad, aunque luego se haga a pié. Parada en los sitios para hacer fotos. Yo monté sólo y el conductor, Juan, se portó conmigo de maravilla permitiéndome hacer las fotos y paradas por el tiempo necesario. Merece mucho la pena

Aunque el concepto del tour en microbus es bueno, como forma rápida de ver lo principal de la ciudad, nos decepcionó la falta de interés y de atención del guía.
No aportaba apenas explicación alguna, tan sólo se limitaba a señalar con la manolos monumentos, y las explicaciones de la audioguía eran mediocres, poco interesantes y además se escuchaba mal, cortándose cada dos por tres.
Antes de este tour, tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer otro igual en microbus en Priego de Córdoba y le dimos los cinco puntos, porque el guía se lo ganó. Espero que mejoren porque no me quiero imaginar la impresión que se llevaron los turistas franceses que iban con nosotros a quienes ni siquiera se les dio la oportunidad de escuchar la audioguía en francés.

Antequera, un lugar para visitar. Gracias al bus eléctrico vimos una rápida y amplia visión de lo que es la ciudad. El conductor un encanto. Se puede hacer el trayecto de una sola vez o haciendo paradas y dedicando más tiempo a cada parte del pueblo. Totalmente recomendable.

Antequera isn't huge but do this little trip first to get a feel for what's here and what there is to see. We luckily stayed in Hotel Plaza San Sebastian which is opposite the tourist office and as it turns out is one of only four stops on the bus route. We asked about the bus in the tourist office and she actually phoned the driver and he gave us a rough idea of when he was likely to arrive. We had a great tour and the driver was really friendly and stopped on request for us to take photographs. There was a very good automatic commentary in English throughout which was loud enough and clear - not always the case in our experience. Super and fantastic value at just 8 euros for 24 hours.

Antequera is a beautiful city which dates back to the bronze age combines the medieval with the modern. The cobbled streets of the old town are extremely narrow with tight corners and to someone inexperienced of driving in the town could prove to be a bit of nightmare. Better to leave the car and take the electric micro bus.
The tour takes 70 minutes to complete the full circuit although it is possible to hop off at various points and wait for the next bus, however, out of season it might difficult to plan exactly when to expect it.
The driver has a series of tapes in a number of languages so as the bus arrives at key points he plugs in the appropriate languages.
Antequera is famous for it's numerous churches some dating back to the 16th century and the tour passes many of these and stops at one to allow a brief visit. It also stops outside the 14th century Alcazaba and the ancient Dolmens where there is sufficient time to take a few pictures. The tour continues through streets you would be unlikely to visit, goes through the main shopping streets, circuits the bull ring and passes most of the main hotels.
At 8 euros for a 24 hour ticket it is good value and frankly an opportunity not to be missed.
