Go a little further than the hyper-shopping place with shops that go... go 4 to 5 km and you will find and can enjoy beautiful stretches by the sea / It is clean and cleaned every morning / bathing supervisors watch you all along this long beach.

Long and wide beach along the promenade and main road.
Many dining options and cots rental .
Very busy and parking is a huge challenge in high season.
Paid parking and they strictly check for it.
For us too busy and touristy in high season .
There are quieter beaches to be found.

We wanted an afternoon beach, but what a disappointment.
I really do not recommend it!!! Barely the napkin posed that I can already see butts, papers etc...
Not to mention a sea full of rocks, algae...so unpleasant that we didn't stay more than an hour. I recommend another one that is 5km away that is in my review, that of cala Mijas very well.

The beaches of Fuengirola are embarrassed, everything is business and exploitation and there are hardly any free zones for the citizen. Lots of hammocks, drones, boats and mats. Besides the water is very dirty, disgusting.

8 7 I was fine sand international atmosphere in the south European people sunbathing in their hammocks a pleasure for the north European and North American at last and after all this is not far (aircraft ) from the jungle (spark of humor) New York to take a good swim in this beautiful Mediterranean the fresh water something ideal for tourists from the north because it will know very well this beach is in the heart of town there are from supermarkets to other types of establishments I was in area not far where buses stop to different places to the beautiful recorded take you close train station Fuengirola

Fantastic Spanish beach, now looks Moroccan .clean water and great hospitality

I love the beaches of the Costa Del Sol, so many beautiful beaches all of them blue flag ,one of my favourite beaches is Playa De Fuengirola.
Playa De Fuengirola is a great looking beach,beautiful golden sands that are well maintained, waves are quite gentle and there's some great beach pubs on this beach, we enjoyed beers sat outside Chiringuito Madrid Playa looking out onto the beach ,we couldn't resist going in for a swim as temperatures hit the mid 90's, all in all its a great beach to check out if you're in the area.

Fuengirola was very clean with no garbage, spit, cigarette butts or gum on the sidewalks. Very well kept and tidy town with no graffiti or youth gangs hanging out on the streets.

Yes it is, as far as I know no nasty currents or undertow.
A great beach for kids and adults, all amenities close by.

Hi there I love swimming but don't go in the sea as I too am not steady and the waves prevent me getting out without trouble. There is a smaller beach near mariner where it is much flatter and easy to get in and out. Hope you enjoy.
