Very peaceful and beautiful carpet of cowslips spreading under the trees, also wild orchids. There are fabulous views in all directions. The wood is in North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural beauty and at a cross ways of four green roads one of which leads to the Ridgeway so it's great walking country. The husband of my greatest friend was laid to rest there last year.
