We went on Safari in Norfolk! It was a fabulous way to celebrate a 50th birthday. Staying on site with ready access to our own buggies led to fun filled trips to see species we never even knew existed. 3 teenagers were only too keen to join in the fun. We’ll be back.

Thank you so much to the team at watatunga. We stayed at the Gate lodge,which is beautiful & had everything we needed. With views of the paddocks from your bedroom window,it was just fabulous. Our guides, Chris & Michaela 😉 were attentive & knowledgeable & answered our endless questions which I'm sure ate into their day. The animals seem happy,healthy & relaxed,with places to hide away or show off,depending on their moods. We had the park to ourselves & enjoyed every second of it,as it is a stunning place,so good for your mental well being,better than any medicine!!! We will be back,for sure. A wonderful little place of joy,we had the best time,thank you ❤️ Mel & Tess.

This was the second time we have stayed at Watatunga, and we not disappointed. We stayed at the Gate Lodge, which we enjoyed, but the highlight for us was the rides out into the reserve to see the animals.
We saw almost all of the species living there, which was a treat!
Hope to return again before too much longer.

Our stay there was amazing seeing the animals was very interesting ,the staff were so relaxed and very knowledgeable about the animals,we were spoilt as we had the hole area to roam with the animals and our buggy too our selfs, I just want to say to watatunga you are doing amazing work for the animals. What an absolutely amazing experience!!! My Partner & I stayed at the Gate Lodge for 3 nights…..originally it was 2 nights but we loved it so much that we extended our stay!! The Lodge is so welcoming, cosy and very peaceful. The open fire was a real bonus especially given the time of year! It was wonderful to wake up surrounded by nature and the animals in the paddock! Having our own Buggy for the weekend was great and we made full use of this - we loved exploring the Reserve and meeting all the beautiful animals…..such a privilege to see them in a natural environment! Thankyou to Molly & Ben for our induction! The Lodge is on the outskirts of the village and we did make use of the local shop and also had a meal at The Angel Pub. This really was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend it! We are already planning our next stay!! Thankyou so much to everyone at Wayatunga!

I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in the lovely Gate Lodge at Watatunga Wildlife Reserve recently. I was hoping for a peaceful getaway alone, with the fun of driving round the reserve to see the animals when I wanted. The cottage was immaculate with a very well appointed kitchen, comfy bed and cosy fire, I couldn't have wished for more. The reserve was great fun and getting up close to the water buffalo was a highlight. My guide was knowledgeable and friendly and the golf buggy is fun and easy to drive. I will be returning again very soon.

We stayed in Major's Lodge, which was beautiful and well-equipped. The views from the windows and hide were awesome and the buggies were the best part. They meant we had so many opportunities to see the animals upclose. The best way to spend my birthday weekend.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you so much all of you for your hard work and dedication ❤️

What a brilliant day out!!! Such an amazing place to visit and it was fun to be able to drive around in our own buggy. The guide was brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable. We are local and gutted that it is closed for much of the year. We can’t wait to go back!!

Had a fantastic time staying in the gate lodge, a quirky cottage with an amazing view of a paddock with antelope and deer. You get access to the wildlife park in your own golf buggy whilst there and we loved exploring the park, trying to spot the animals during our own mini safari. Had lots of amazing encounters despite the bad weather. Highly recommend this unique stay to any any wildlife lovers.

We took my 93 year old Mum with very limited mobility in one of their buggies and she was very comfortable. There was of course their advertised wheelchair accessible vehicle as well but we chose the ordinary buggy and didn’t regret it. Superb friendly experience.

I don’t think so.
They would get bored of sitting in a golf type buggy and cannot get out for the 1.1/2 hrs.
