We couldn’t believe how much was in the Lynn Museum. Absolutely loads to look at and learn about. There’s a range of galleries to explore: “Seahenge”, civil war, space race etc.
Make sure you spend a decent amount of time looking at the cabinet of curiosities. All the cases are the original mahogany, too.
There are lots of things to do for kids as well, so this is well worth your time for at least a couple of hours with the family.

Medieval items and a lot of history, however not the whole museum was open on the day and although some things were interesting, it wasn’t a lot to see to make your experience wonderful.

Our local museum, and a great source of wonderful information about the history of this beautiful part of the world. Is home the Seahenge, so well worth a visit just for that.

Is an amazing place. Not a large museum but there’s a lot to see. Free to enter and the staff are lovely x easy to get to with it being in town centre.

What a treat of a free museum this is! There’s a real eclectic mix of artefacts inside. Most notably, Seahenge, which is displayed fully and carefully. There is also currently a moon exhibition on at the moment which I’m not sure is temporary or not. It’s a definite must see for the area with really friendly staff and such a variety of things inside

Went to visit the Seahenge at the Lynn Museum, breathtaking and then went walkabout. We found a water ski racing event taking place - really exciting and the town was an historic site in itself. Tremendous day out.

Delightful small museum, right next to the bus station. St James's Multi-storey car park 2 mins walk. Lots of interesting, well presented exhibits / displays including the 'seahenge' timbers which were fascinating in their own unique way. Small gift shop, friendly and helpful staff and a single toilet inside, although the main toilets that serve the bus station and that part of King's Lynn are located just outside the museum entrance. Free entry during winter but not summer so check. A credit to the town and the museum sector.

We really enjoyed our visit. I wanted to see the SeaHenge and dragged the kids along but they really enjoyed it too. Lots of interactive stuff for them to do. Small place but interesting. Our visit lasted about an hour. Staff friendly and helpful.

Admission prices are as follows:
Adult: £3.95
Concession*: £3.55
Child (4-18): £2.95
Family Ticket: 1 adult + all children £8.30
Family Ticket: 2 adults + all children £11.00
*Concession: Visitors with disability, unwaged, over 65's or in full-time education.
Free admission: Norfolk Museums Pass holders, Friends of Lynn Museum, Children's University members and children under 4 years old.
Pop in for a £1: Available daily after 4pm.
Free admission for all visitors from October 2015 – March 2016.
We are also running a 2-4-1 promotional offer starting 30/7/2015 - 30/9/2015 for visitors who show a train or bus ticket/pass issued on the day of visiting.
