We had a really good time walking the alpacas. Ian introduced us to all the alpacas and gave us the stories behind each one as well as what each one likes to do on the walk. Afterwards we got to feed them some apples and bread.

Excellent experience. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and clearly cared for the animals and knew and understood them. The Alpaca's were friendly and clearly enjoying being taken out and seemed happy and content. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a great experience yesterday, taking the alpacas out for 90mins around Wells. Each alpaca had its own personality and our guide was very helpful and friendly.

I tried last year but it was too wet to walk the Alpacas so as promised I returned this year on 220823 as Grandpa, Grandma, daughter and two grandchildren aged 8 and 14.
Absolutely brilliant and we all walked one each in convoy lead by Rory (the guide) on foot who was made for this role closely followed by the 8 year old who asked him a million questions whilst guiding his Alpaca. I found 1 hour enough purely as I am out of condition and old but you could easily do more. We fed all the 15 Alpacas on return and we all enjoyed it. Rory imparted loads of useful knowledge to us about the animals and Wells itself.
Well worth the money and a very memorable experience.

Had a lovely time. Such sweet creatures, although Pancho had a little spit, i was staring at him! Lovely to feed them. Kids loved it, as did tourists watching all 7 of us parade by. Toilet perhaps not five stars

Please don't spend your time or money attempting to take for a walk, an animal that doesn't want to be taken for a walk. It will be stressfull for them and stressfull for you. Having attempted it I can only describe it as a hugely inappropriate activity with entirely unsuitable animals, made worse by my female guide accusing me of "doing something" to distress the alpaca I had been allocated because it had become very jittery. Rude, superior and patronising she simulateiously made me feel like a naught school girl (I am 46 years old) and an animal abuser. The only thing I was thankful for was that I had been given the most nervous animal and not either of my children. All I learnt is that alpacas are incredibly timid creatures who need space and are not in the slightest bit suited to being paraded around as a commercial enterprise. Upon being allocated my animal I was instructed not to touch it or look it in the eye! I may aswell have gone for a walk on my own! It would certainly have been more relaxing! My poor alpaca was distressed almost immediately upon leaving his paddock, just about tolerated the walk and nearly trampled his fellow alpacas underfoot in an attempt to get home upon return sight of the paddock. The whole experience left me feeling traumatised. Can't imagine how the poor alpaca felt!! I should have been suspicious as the previous party arrived back at the paddock looking less than enthused by their experience. If you want to support alpacas then make a cash donation to their up-keep, leave them alone and find a friends dog to take for a walk. The dog will appreciate it.

What an unique experience! We really enjoyed walking and learning about the alpacas. It's a lovely trail with clear instructions given so you can really get the most out of the experience. We enjoyed getting to feed the alpacas at the end. They loved the chopped apples. We loved getting a keyring with the alpaca you walked at the end. This only added to what was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this experience. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time trekking with "Nacho" and "Juanito", guided by Rory who was a wealth of knowledge, both locally and Alpaca related.
We loved every second and getting our hands into their soft wool and cuddles was a great experience.
Highly recommend!

My family and I had the best time! We received a warm welcome on arrival, listened to a brief (but interesting) introductory talk, and then went on a leisurely 1-hour walk with our allocated alpacas. It was so much fun. And the experience continued on our return, with the opportunity to feed the alpacas. It was a truly memorable experience and was worth every penny. I cannot recommend highly enough.

It goes from next to the church, along the old rail trach towards the harbour, past the old pub and fishermens cottages and back towards the church, taking into account stops for eating grass, rolling and scratching.
Are there any toilet opportunities before walking the alpacas?

We pre-booked as they were fairly busy and I'm guessing aren't always there if they have no bookings.
