Great 1.5hr experience (1 hr walk) with 4 alpacas, 2 adults & 2 teenagers. Lady was very informative & accompanied us on the trek round beautiful wells. Well worth the £77. Enjoyed by all & well organised.

Great unique experience ! With a unique character, Ian directs you clearly so you know exactly what to do , be prepared to be told off by the alpaca ( pablo) and also by Ian , but they are lovely , we loved it though great fun ! Would recommend if you want something a bit different.

We enjoyed this 1 hour Alpaca walk as a family of 4 very much! Such sweet creatures and very knowledgeable staff. It was the perfect end to our week in Norfolk.

What a great experience walking these wonderful animals around Wells! After a few tips on how to handle them, we were off. A steady walk around the outskirts of the town followed and every time other people saw us, it was nothing but smiles all round. I can heartily recommend this experience - you will learn so much about alpacas.

I went on this tour to keep my 7 year old daughter entertained whilst the boys went fishing ! I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had ! Everything about this tour was incredible. The animals were adorable and quirky. The walk around was sublime. Feeding the animals were cool. I didn’t stop smiling / laughing for the hour and half we were with the animals. What this did for my wellbeing was incredible. So much so is that we are planning on coming back to Wells just to do this again ; this time with the boys because they are jealous that we had so much fun despite them having a great fishing trip with plenty of catches. And as for my daughter, it’s safe to say she had the time of her life ! (And loves Nacho so much.)

This was such an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend it. The folks who run the alpaca rescue are so incredibly knowledgeable. They match each person to an alpaca that would best suit them after a brief safety talk, and you’re off on a lovely walk. The alpacas eat, nip a sip of water or occasionally enjoy a dust bath along the way. All of them are calm, lovely animals. You get to feed them after your walk -So don’t forget to bring some sliced apples! At the end, you wash up and get a lovely bit of memorabilia to keep. Simply an exquisite time. Our kids (12 & 13) absolutely loved every moment. If you can’t find a place to park near the church, try the Bowling Green pub. The hour’s walk is ok for people with mild mobility issues. One of our party has a fused spine and MS. They were absolutely fine. It’s not continuous walking. All walking is at a gentle pace along a relatively flat gradient with breaks here and there as you enjoy the alpacas and Wells.

A lovely experience with knowledgable guide. The chap that runs it was the first person to offer alpaca trekking in the UK and he knows his stuff.
We had a great time here - although I was a bit nervous about the instructions to begin with (I struggle to remember things and get flustered easily) it ended up a fun and relaxing experience.
Do remember that these are animals, fairly big ones, so it’s not going to be like walking a dog … they are strong willed animals but really lovely. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with any form of mobility restriction though - you need to be steady on your feet, in suitable footwear, and ready for muddy terrain outside of summer time.
Feeding the herd at the end of the experience was great fun too.
Expect an authentic animal experience rather than cute Instagram cuddles or slick amenities and you won’t be disappointed (although the leader of the pack does like a cuddle!) .

An outstanding activity in Wells Next the Sea. I truly recommend this for anyone visiting. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Siobhan was our amazing guide who delighted us with so much information with an absolute passion for the alpacas. We also enjoyed feeding them chopped apple. Thank you Ian and team for giving these precious alpacas so much love.

This is the second time my family walked the alpacas. Both times in October. They are lovely animals and really enjoyable to walk.

There is off street parking in a camper van I just parked on the sea front which is about a 5 min walk away

It goes from next to the church, along the old rail trach towards the harbour, past the old pub and fishermens cottages and back towards the church, taking into account stops for eating grass, rolling and scratching.

There is a small toilet on site which you can use before you set off.

We pre-booked as they were fairly busy and I'm guessing aren't always there if they have no bookings.
