I think from reading reviews, this might be unpopular but £10 each for two rooms with a handful of tanks is excessive and very poor value. Plus it is extra if you want to feed the mullets. Been to far better and far more reasonably priced aquariums.

10/10 experience today! Such an interactive experience, knowledgable guide and well worth the visit!
Best aquarium visit we have had.
Hand feeding the mullets was incredible.

Although the place is small it's well worth a visit you get to hold a star fish and get to feed the fish from your hand which felt strange, and seing the crabs up close was a joy too.

This is a charming small aquarium, in one of the old fisherman’s buildings on the cobb in Lyme Regis. The hosts were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We fed the fish as part of the entrance fee which was entertaining and our daughter held a star fish. We spent approx 30 minutes in there.

The fishermen bring in local fish 🐟 to showcase what we have in our British waters - the nice thing is they have some of their fish on rotation and so release then back into the sea 🌊
The kissing Mullet are super cute
Ask the staff about the fish - they are so knowledgeable- had a lovely long conversation with a lady who worked there - she taught me so much!
It’s a small aquarium so definitely not like sea world or anything - I definitely think it was the highlight of my day! ☺️

Overpriced at £10 per adult and £8 per child as the aquarium is very small and only takes around 10 minutes to see everything. Hand fed the fish with flakes which was a nice addition, this was supposed to be an additional £3 but we weren’t charged.

We come every year we visit, and it's always a lovely experience. It's only small but so interactive. The staff have so much knowledge and give you so much of their time. It's great for kids but just as much for the adults. Thank you to the lovely young man who was there today (forgot to grab his name) he was great! Good luck getting into uni!

It is only small but such a wonderful interactive experience with nature. I would go back over and over. We hand fed fish and got to touch a starfish. Staff were so kind and patient with my autistic daughter. So recommended

Waste of money, can only really be in there for 10 mins at most and that's looking at everything twice!! Cost us as a family of four £36 and we were in and put in minutes same as every one else in there, they were apparently charging £3 each to feed the fish but gave it to us on the house today!! Very big of them to give you a tiny cup of fish flakes that the fish were not interested in anyway,
Please save your money and don't come here, we only came as it was raining, wish we had stayed in caravan for an extra hour, don't spend your money here as you will be sorry.

What a great little place. Real old school charm and amazing experience. The staff made us feel so welcome and the kids had a brilliant time.

Hi, we went only a week ago on 13/2 and yes they are allowed. Just bear in mind it is a small space and if your dog does not like lots of busy places and noise it might not be suitable however our dog loved it as much as the kids 🤣.
