A fantastic unique little find by the harbour. The highlight has to be feeding the grey mullet by hand (it tickles!) and we also got to hold a starfish. The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable. We have been here several times now and will return again!

Had a lovely visit here , father and son who run the aquarium are very friendly and happy to share their extensive knowledge of marine life and local history. Some amazing fish and sea creatures to see. Very happy to hear that most of the exhibits are returned to the sea after a while, with fishermen bringing new ones , which in turn are again returned to the sea.

Visited the lovely marine aquarium on bank holiday weekend with my 2 year old, he absolutely loved it and it was fantastic to learn all about the local sea life with him. We will be back!

This place is absolutely great. Feeding the grey mullet was awesome and the hilarious looking blennies were a highlight for me.
So friendly and knowledgable in there as well, I would recommend this place for people interested in learning about the local sea creatures :)

An absolute highlight for me was hand feeding the grey mullet! Amazing to see them so tame and relaxed, and so much fun to interact with them and see them swarm around your hand! The owner was really kind and knowledgable, he's obviously very passionate about the creatures he keeps. As a fish keeper myself, it was great to see that all the tanks all seemed adequate size, and the creatures all looked happy and healthy, with well filtered clear water and some enrichment in the tanks too. There was plenty to learn, with helpful boards over the habitats explaining where they live in the wild, their diets, behaviour etc. Also got to hold a little starfish, which was pretty unmissable! I would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to spend a chilled out hour or two, learning about sea life and meeting some fish friends.

Excellent experience for all! We really enjoyed it, owners son was extremely attentive let us hold star fish told us all about the history of the business and the fish all round brilliant experience will be returning with kids!! Thank you

This is a lovely small aquarium (2 rooms) so the prices (£9 adult, £7 children) put us off slightly and meant that only myself and our daughter went in as she was keen to go and the rest of the family didn't. However hand feeding the mullet was amazing. The owner has trained them over many years to do this, as they are naturally shy so this is a unique experience. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Holding the star fish was good too. We spent about an hour here and loved it but if the prices were slightly lower, given you'd struggle to spend longer than an hour, the whole family would have come in.

Visited in april and it was great. Kids (2&6) loved it especially getting to feed the mullet fish and hold the starfish. My daughter was a bit nervous about holding the starfish but the guy helped her and got a smaller one for her, then she loved it. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly which made this visit great. Amazing to see what marine life is in the area!

Hi, we went only a week ago on 13/2 and yes they are allowed. Just bear in mind it is a small space and if your dog does not like lots of busy places and noise it might not be suitable however our dog loved it as much as the kids 🤣.
