Booked a charter boat for 8 of us to do a fast rib ride and scatter my brothers ashes in memory of our holidays in Lyme and his love for speed. Very easy booking, good price and more importantly great attention by them to make it nice so much so they screenshotted the co-ordinates on the boat as to where we spread the ashes. Nice touch.

This was cold, wet and windy and huge fun. Expect to get wet, bouncing around Lyme Bay at high speed, but you will come back with a huge smile.

This really is an incredible ride! We took the shorter trip in August, and although it was summer there was a lot of wind and some pretty big waves. This just added to the thrill though, as we jumped, carved and span through the ocean. It was thrilling, exhilarating and exciting and everyone loved it! It is also worth noting that the boat is in amazing condition and we felt very well looked after and safe at all times. Fantastic trip and can't recommend highly enough!

9 friends took an excellent trip around the bay with the lovely Tom. Speedy RIB, (Rigid Inflatable boat 😂) lots of fun. Would 100% recommend.

Lyme Regis has a lovely sandy beach and some stony ones too. We went in the sea which was fine for small children, life guards there too. Rock pools for crabbing, boats for cruising - tip - get a whole boat if more than 6 of you as cheaper and nicer. Rib boats there too. Mini golf as well.
The only downside is the hill or many steps from the car park at the top!!

We had a great 30mins rib ride full of speed and tight turns which was extremely fun and exhilarating! The skipper was knowledgeable and made sure we were kept safe during the tour. It was great fun and we even enjoyed getting wet! Lots of fun for everyone 😀

Great fun experience, helped by it being a beautiful sunny day. Skipper Tom clearly knows how to handle and get the best out of the boat and managed to pretty much get each passenger wet at some point!

Great ride and good value for the money. The speed and excitement were a great experience. Great to see the coastline from another perspective. Will definitely go again next Time I'm in Lyme Regis. Can highly recommend.

Hi, I'm thinking of taking my 6 and 9 year old boys on the 30 minute rib ride next week. I know they'll love it but I'm such an anxious mum. Is it safe for them, no chance of them falling/bouncing out when the rib does tight, fast turns? I'm one of those parents who cling onto my kids hands on rollercoasters (not that it would do a jot of good if something went wrong!)

Mine are now grown but I'd have taken my young lad on this boat. The crew were very friendly, professional and safety conscious. We did the longer sight seeing ride. Maybe consider that if you're not sure - it's still a thrill. Your boys will love the boat and its 500bhp engines! I doubt they'd do the job if there was any risk. If you go on a rollercoaster it's not 100% safe. Neither is being driven in a car.....

We are a group of 16-18 that would ideally like to take a boat trip at the same time.

The best thing to do for information is visit our website at lymeribrides then click on the book now button and you will be presented with our calendar showing availability of trips. You can then follow the online PayPal booking system. If you are looking for a bespoke trip or group trip (exclusive use of the boat) then please phone me on 07790 400 300.

Currently trips run from 10am but earlier on pre arrangement. The best thing to do is to phone Lyme RIB Rides on 07790 400 300 for more details and arrange a time that suits you
