Outstanding. Tom was excellent, it's incredible, just so much fun. It's fast, jumping over the waves, pulling tight circles. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Never been on a boat ride that goes fast before and it didn't disappoint. Tom who was our boat driver was fastastic and put us at ease. I had a big grin the whole time and it was a laugh when we went really fast, felt like a roller-coaster ride!

Safety briefing beforehand great. Tom the skipper made everyone feel at ease. He explained exactly were we were going and what we were going to see. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fab 50 min ride along jurassic coast, Tom was incredibly knowledgeable and fab to stop off at various points briefly to listen to the history ( Haven Cliffs, Seaton, Smugglers at Beer, ship wreck at Branscombe etc). My 10 and 12 year old loved did as did their Granny!

Amazing fast ride, faster than I had expected so super fun! amazing views and trip, wanted to do a second boat trip but wasn't in Lyme Regis long enough! Definitely recommend to anyone.
Was a very good price per person for what you get as well especially considering not many people can fit on a boat for each trip and abroad the cost is way more.

Last minute booking whilst we were on holiday and we are so glad we booked ... what a fantastic way to end our trip ! Tom the guide/driver was fantastic, great fun and very knowledgeable. We had 3 children aged 5 to 16 and I was comfortable/safe with the safety advise given, we loved every minute of it I would 100% recommend to anyone !!

We had a great ride on the Rib with Tom the skipper. Was really nice that he was so knowledgeable about the local area. Was worried we would be thrown about alot, our 11 year old grandaughter was very sceptical but thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We had a calm day on the sea but Tom ensured there was some thrill at the end!

Too many great things to mention.
The Rib ride alone was great but we were traeted to a good half hour of Dolphin fun!!!
This was not even part of the itinerary, however the Dolphins came along and treated us to a truly amazing time.
The ride was finished off with a few exciting "turns".
Tom, our skipper for the trip was excellent.
He was full of knowledge and was obviously a lover of the Dolphins too.
A great way to spend a couple of hours and well worth the money.
We have paid more than this for boat trips abroad and failed to see any Dolphins yet here we are in good old "Blightey" and we see loads of them.

Weekend visiting 13 yr old grandson. Always seeking something to entertain him. This ticked the box. We went on the 50min ride. Exciting trip out and back. Tom was an excellent skipper, very knowledgeable and obviously was interested in the area and his job. Well done.

Hi, I'm thinking of taking my 6 and 9 year old boys on the 30 minute rib ride next week. I know they'll love it but I'm such an anxious mum. Is it safe for them, no chance of them falling/bouncing out when the rib does tight, fast turns? I'm one of those parents who cling onto my kids hands on rollercoasters (not that it would do a jot of good if something went wrong!)

Mine are now grown but I'd have taken my young lad on this boat. The crew were very friendly, professional and safety conscious. We did the longer sight seeing ride. Maybe consider that if you're not sure - it's still a thrill. Your boys will love the boat and its 500bhp engines! I doubt they'd do the job if there was any risk. If you go on a rollercoaster it's not 100% safe. Neither is being driven in a car.....

Is there only one boat owned by this company?
We are a group of 16-18 that would ideally like to take a boat trip at the same time.

Lyme Rib Rides currently operate with one boat seating 12 and would not be able to take you all out at the same time.

The best thing to do for information is visit our website at lymeribrides then click on the book now button and you will be presented with our calendar showing availability of trips. Currently trips run from 10am but earlier on pre arrangement. The best thing to do is to phone Lyme RIB Rides on 07790 400 300 for more details and arrange a time that suits you
