Profesionales de distintos lugares del mundo unidos por una vision: " Salvar a la Paraba Barba Azul de su extincion del planeta". Estas especies de loros que solo habitan en la Amazonia Boliviana casi an desaparecido del planeta victimas traficantes de aves , hoy su poblacion se calcula en 200 a 300 individuos, y hoy gracias al esfuerzo, trabajo, pasion y dedicacion de esta fundacion podemos decir : LA PARABA BARBA AZUL VIVE !!! .
Las instalaciones a 22 kms de Trinidad funciona la fundacion en las instalaciones del Establecimiento Campestre el Tabano contando con comodas instalaciones donde acampar, hospedarse en su comodas y funcionales cabanas , comer variada variedad de pescados Amazonicos, destacando el Pacu. El establecimiento cuenta con 10 piletones de 20 x 50 mts, c/u, destinados a la cria de estos peces. Alli puede pescar su almuerzo, cuenta con cocineros especializados para prepararlo a su gusto.
Mi calificacion:Exelente es poco

Having met the director of Conservation Loros Bolivia It's incredible to see the amount of time , money and passion they put to save Bolivia's parrot species.
Not only are they involved in helping to save the worlds rarest macaw species the blue throated macaw they are also helping in Jaguar and other wildlife conservation as well
If you are going to donate any organisation in Bolivia then make sure it's Conservation Loros Bolivia

Not to be missed for bird lovers! Marina led us on three days of adventures around Trinidad. The highlight is the Blue Throated Macaw Preserve - a must see- where we learned more about the macaws, associated species and their habitat. The macaws are endemic and endangered so the visit is a very special privilege. Marina led us on both river and road birding adventures that were very productive, and we also were able to visit the Kenneth Lee Ethnographic Museum and the university's collection of river fish. In all we got an excellent introduction to this fascinating area with rich wildlife resource. We are very pleased to see the work that Bolivian Parrots Conservation is doing to educate and to build the tourism capability of this area.

La fundación es importante porque hace un gran aporte en el cuidado y conservación de las distintas especies de loros que tenemos en el Beni.

I just got back from a great trip with CLB. They organized a completely private and customizable tour for a reasonable price. If you loved birds I would particularly recommend this organization. We had a specialized ornithologist accompany us for must of the trip!
We did a tour looking for the ancient artificial remains of the pre-columbian civilization that is thought to have made wide scale hydraulic engineering and maybe, just maybe, have been at the center of the El Dorado Myth.
They can do group and other types of tours too. Marina was our tour and driver. They are very flexible and patient. I found her reliable and thoughtful. We had a private tour with our own vehicle. This is great but expect that renting a private car (the company rents it for you) is about Bs. 600 to Bs. 800 per day.
I recommend being in touch with them before you go and asking for an itinerary. Make sure to bring cash as credit cards aren't wide accepted in Beni.
