Sri Maju bus Driver chainsmoked all the way from Penang to malacca, a 7 + hour ride. The windows don’t open. He ignored complaints, coughing people. Called the Sri Maju office in Ipoh and they did nothing. It’s been against the law since 2004, demand your money back and complain to station police if you experience this!

KPB express bus is the worst. We wwre delayed for more than an hour that we almost missed our flight

This is the main transport hub for butterworth on the mainland. It is linked to the railway station about 150 meters. Quite a distance. The taxi stand is on the 2nd floor, while the bus station is on the ground floor. Many eatries, convient shops and toilets. It is also connected to the ferry terminal to penang island.

Chaotic. The boarding gate or platform you suppose to get to will be totally different from what was written on the ticket. I was given platform A15 but there's only until platform 7. Turn-out the 15 was for the bus outside which difficult for passengers to see from inside. What make it even worse is the screen was to small to see which bus is on boarding now. You have to always ask the lady at the gate which unfortunately not really keen on answering one after another question. well if the system is more proper people wouldn't need to ask a lot.

Penang sentral provide many transportation to the public such as bus, ferry, taxi and train. There are many food shops in the Penang Sentral such as 4 Finger, Harold Bakery and many more.

Modern / New Transportation Hub in Butterworth, Penang.
The entrance to parking areas is quite tricky, but they have plenty of parking lots. Many restaurants, mini markets and modern facilities provided. Has direct connection to Ferry. Hub for Buses and linked to rains.

Located in Butterworth, this integrated transportation hub links the Butterworth KTMB train station to the ferry terminal and includes an express and intercity bus terminal. With a couple of hundred parking bays and taxi waiting bays, it offers convenience for travellers and commuters with their park & ride facilities. The retail area is quite big with mostly F&B outlets. There are ATM machines and the toilets are clean.
