San Rafael is so beautiful from the river, to the beach, villa Miriam! I love how genuine the people from San Rafael are! So caring and kind and not trying to rip you off! The food at San Rafael beach is sooooo good! Ask for Mari when you get there, she cooks the best meals, the food is deliciousssss, fresh and affordable!

Fab beach, but not for swimming

This is a beautiful beach, and the only reason that I haven’t given it five stars, is that we couldn’t swim there. The waves were impressively huge, and you’d have to be a very strong and comfortable swimmer to take them on. It’s okay to wallow in the shallow though of course, and a few people were doing so.

The water here is an amazing blue, just gorgeous. There is a river that comes down to the beach through a series of pools, which looked fun. The area between the river and the beach is packed with picnic tables and little stalls selling food. We had already eaten at Los Patos, so I can’t vouch for them.

Me parece que sanidad deve intervenir ya que no hay salubridad a la hora de preparar Los alimentos que alli se ofrecen Mucha suciedad e incluso vi una señora scarlet piojos a una niña y luego sin lavarse Las manos se puso hacer yuca rellena yo no vuelvo a consumer nada en Esa playa prefiero llevar lo que voy a consumir

La playa San Rafael es un tesoro de la Perla del Sur. Unos colores imposibles de tan hermosos. Mucho oleaje, pero sencillamente extraordinaria para la contemplación.

Que agua mas fria

Un sabado desidimos ir a la playa San Rafael, salimos temprano y asi dlsfrutar mas tiempo, llegamos y nos acomodamos y pedimos la carta del Menu, un joven contesto no tienen carta y nos recomendo que pedir,, pescado, fritos de platano con escabeche, estos regocios solo funcionan fines de semanas y el turismo es local,, En La playa el mar es muy revuelto y las Personals pasan mas tiemp en el Rio de aguas cristalinas. En Rio que nace en una montaña y desemboca en el mar y es
bastante corto y frio.

Stunning!!

Paradise on earth is what you got on San Rafael. The beach is way too beautiful, you must see with your own eyes.

There's a river that came from the mountains to the beach as cascades to pools created by man. The water is really clean and cold, also you can see fishes on the water.. really cool!

Food is cheap, fresh and with really good taste.

Es una playa hermosa!! Pero el oleaje es muy fuerte y eso no te permite disfrutar al máximo... es recomendable no llevar niños menores de 12 años por las fuertes olas.

las olas son muy fuertes, recomiendo mejor el balneario de agua fría que es muy bueno.Eso si el color de la playa, ese azul impresionante es perfecto para el que le guste la fotografía, aunque la de los patos es aun mas azul.
