Aca está la foto. Es una costanera corta pero con excelente vista a los palafitos. Hay estacionamiento. Imagino que en epoca de vacaciones, el lugar esta colapasado.

se encuentran las casas tipo palafito que representan a Chiloe, la marea en la mañana baja por lo que es ideal tomarla en la tarde ( fuimos en Febrero)

Bonito lugar para recorrer en pareja, ya sea por la mañana o tarde; muy romántico. Ideal para sentarse con un mate o café a pasar un rato agradable, o simplemente tomarse un par de fotos. No esperes ver todos los palafitos con agua en sus bases, dependerá en gran medida de la estación en que la visites.

Un paisaje de postal. Una de las imágenes más icónicas de la isla de Chiloé con sus palafitos de fondo aunque la imagen varía en función de la marea. Solo faltó que el tiempo acompañara.

There are 2 place to see the houses on stilts from land, For the first, try to go at high tide, when the sun shines and there isn't too much wind. Then the houses are very nicely reflected in the tidal lake, and the view is very nice. If you go at low tide, there is no water in the lake, just mud, and thus the view is less enticing. The houses are painted in different, but all bright colours.
This stretch of houses is rather a distance from the main centre of Castro, but if you walk along the road closest to the interior sea, there are many other colourful and nice buildings to spot. Nearby is also a little park.
The other one is close to the city centre, along the river, and there are 2 miradors overlooking the houses. Go in the morning, or the sun will be on the wrong side to have the best view of these colourful and architecturally interesting houses. It is worthwhile to cross the bridge and have a quick walk up the street, to see the houses from the other side.

Neat little cluster of buildings on the edge of town that started because you didn't have to pay land taxes when situated over the water. cute buildings with the towns unique shingles and a few promising looking restaurants and cafes.

Poca clara la información sobre dónde ver y cuáles son los palafitos. A veces me tocaba sin agua porque baja la marea. La costanera para caminar esta poco cuidada, con harta basura. Parece un lugar poco seguro.

Como se llega a los palafitos estoy en castro y no hay nada bonito que ver en medio dia ya lo recorrimos lo unico bonito es la iglesia y esta cerrada

Siento no poder ayudarle, pero yo visite el lugar en Noviembre y no tuve oportunidad de pasear en lanchas, aunque vi que estaban disponibles.
Respecto del clima, recuerde que estamos en pleno verano por lo que es de esperar que el clima sea benigno, aunque si no hubiera sol, recuerde que estará usted al sur del continente junto al océano pacifico por lo que el abrigo moderado es aconsejable, ya que no es muy intenso y ademas el lugar tiene las bellezas propias de una isla.
Ls palafitos son insuperables, si puedes alojar al menos una noche en alguno de ellos es una experiencia inolvidable, única; sentir como el agua llega la borde de las habitaciones y luego baja casi tres metros es digno de vivir
Por ultimo serán bienvenidos en nuestro país y los isleños les agradecerán que les visiten y admiren sus belleza naturales

Tomás el ferri en Castro y ahí tendrá la cuidad...Hay comedores en algunos palafitos y un mirador hermoso...Conoce también dalcahue y los pueblos que hay en la isla grande de Chiloé...Que lo pases ser bien...
