War Memorial is dedicated to the Himachal State soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for the motherland. Built in seventies amidst the hills full of pine forests . It is a peaceful resting place for the martyrs. Also a place to pay tributes to those who sacrificed their lives for your safety.

I was expecting something better from a war memorial but was very disappointed. From the outside it looked like there will be a lot of detailed history but not upto the mark at all

A very nice serene hill station and well maintained and a huge landscape. Good restaurants around. Lot of things to explore

A memorial constructed to honour the war heroes from Himachal. Enough parking is provided. Also visit the museum located right next door (separate entrance fee required). The cataloguing and listing is rather informative. A must visit place when in Dharamshala.

Located in the heart of Dharamsala on main road near Cricket Stadium. You need to buy entry tickets and ample parking is available. You feel patriotic and touched at this place. Beautifully made and photogenic. You can see tanks , aircraft’s and Navy ship. Children park is also available. You need to walk a little so dressed accordingly. Keep at least one hour for this site and not to be missed in case you are near Dharamsala. You can sit and relax for a while & washrooms available. Place to be visited by all age groups.

It is dedicated to the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for the motherland. It is situated amidst the pine forest. The cracked barks of the pine trees give a unique mosaic landscape and form a peaceful resting place for the martyrs.

This war memorial dedicated to the war heroes is located in Dharamshala. It is nicely maintained with ample parking space. The flowers and the gardens and the main monument are worth the visit.

We visited this War Memorial on 18 April 2022 during our stay at Dharamshala. One must visit this memorial and museum. The entry tickets are Rs 20 for each.

Nice place to hang-out. Gives a reflection of our war history with names of martyrs. Recommended to visit.
