The massive about of fire memorabilia was crammed into this small museum. Such a shame it is no longer in existence. It closed a few years ago. My visit date was back when it was still open, but it does not give me a later choice than March 2019.

Took my boy there for a fun day he got to sit in an old fashioned wagon the employees there were very friendly and helpful and informational they even gave my son an extra free pass when we were leaving to come back.

Unfortunately this great museum will no longer be open due to a lack of funds. It was dedicated to the fire service for the great work they provide in our communities.

This place is small but amazing. The guy at the front gave us a personal tour. We spent over an hour on a tour that was both interesting and informative. If you are not interested in a tour, you are also free to just roam around looking at all the history packed into this little converted fire house.

Stop on by for a tour. Everyone there are volunteers and likes to show you around. They have fundraisers (pancake breakfast) in the spring and fall. Yum.

Went by to see what it was and it is FANTASTIC. If you want to know about fire engines, firefighters, equipment and history GO TO THIS MUSEUM. The building is a firehouse and has lots of rooms of exhibits, fire trucks, hand pumpers, bottles, uniforms, hats, badges, shields etc. There are items from all over to see. They have a children's room with hands on items and a fire truck out of doors for them to work the truck nozzle to shoot at a mock up " house on fire ". This is a GREAT Museum. Costs are -Adults $4, Seniors $2.50, Students $2 and children under 5 free. All active duty Fire Fighters and Military are free. Donations are welcome to help support. This is a very fascinating and must see museum and has a small gift shop. If you go on Thursday ask for Don who is very knowledgeable for a tour. HOURS are 10am to 4:30pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Excellent things to view for adults and children. Lots of great history. The kids can climb on the old engines. Great interaction for everyone.

If you like old fire equipment and trucks this is the place to go. A pleasant surprise in such a small town.
